Did Golden State have authority to beat the Heat?
someone needs to explain to me why the fkn oxymorons on the team always go away from the hot hand?
splitter had like 3-4 good continuous possessions and pop either yanks him to the bench or some fkn oxymoron stop feeding him the ball....
Did Golden State have authority to beat the Heat?
He was wide open multiple times, but this is no surprise, they always ignore Splitter. The only one that used to pass was Nando and now he is turning into another Neal...
It's still time IMO
I also do not like that Pop is so not consistent with the rotations. It's never good. Player should know how many minutes he is gonna play and what his role is and that he can make mistakes and still go forward.
Let's see how it's gonna be looking in january.
Btw.
In Utah it always was something about the crowd balls and baskets.
Tim Duncan is 36 and he had a magnificent game against a team with 4 good big men. Fans expecting anymore from than that from TD is a joke.
Blair, Bonner, Diaw are the ones that needed to step up and they didn't do , they're bordering on useless and I have had enough of them not helping TD out on a consistent basis. Blaming Tim for missing that jumper is total crap after everything else he did in the game for the Spurs.
Which reminds me...how is it that we see all these other teams with big after big, and we can't seem to get anyone to help Timmy out?
Is it just a $$$ issue?
I hate Dejuan Blair starting. He is such a weak link in the starting lineup.
Well, we get the Jazz at home in March. I can't wait to blow them off the floor. 3/22/2013 circled on the calendar.
It's a money thing. Bigs are overpaid and we have Tim Duncan, who in comparison, makes most other bigs look like crap.
The Spurs have to overpay to get someone here, but once you've had D-Rob and Tim Duncan you don't really want to pay any of the scrubs out there their asking price.
For example, I would not pay anywhere near 15 million for Tyson Chandler. Someone like that would probably put us over the top, but after having Tim Duncan, there is no way you'd want to pay even someone like Chandler 15 million. The other issue is he probably wouldn't want to come here even if we were offering the same amount of money as another team, he'd probably choose the other team pretty much every time if they were in a bigger market.
Spurs are in a pretty position. Their best bet is taking a gamble on someone. They should have taken a gamble on Blatche. It really sucks if they were the ones that passed up on him and it wasn't Blatche himself that didn't want to come here. Greg Oden is someone else the Spurs should take a look at if/when he makes a comeback attempt. They had the right idea with Curry, but they should have done that with Blatche instead. Oden is someone with a massive reward, they should definitely keep an eye on him.
It really stinks that TD has to carry most of the load himself still.
Just one more run to a championship, that's all I ask. Duncan can retire and I'll be okay with Spurs mediocrity for a few years. Just want #5 for Timmy.
theres still fkn birdman, kmart or eddy curry
i dont give a if eddy is at defense, his still a fkn 7ft big taking up space and u still have to try and score over his head...as for blair lmao jump over him
Yep, let's hope he will find his rotation in January. I just find he is spending (wasting?) a lot of time doing so. It would have been better to have 82 games to work on the rotation than about 50 games.
In additions to injury, what isn't helping Pop is that Spurs' roster is strangely build with a logjam of guards and not a lot of depth in the frontcourt. It isn't an excuse for Pop, since, as a big part of the FO, he is a reason of this weird and unbalanced roster.
It depends
82 games it's a lot and the spurs core knows how to play basketball. The problem is with the rest of the guys - those who are not a big3
It's tough to have such strange roster where everybody can contribute. Especially the worst IMO is to find a space for Mills and Neal. De Colo probably will not get a chance to play in the playoffs. All in all Pop will hve to pair Ginobili as a playmaker with one of this two man.
Frontcourt is getting worse and worse. Bonner is who he is, Blair is fading and it seems like Diaw as well. That's not good prognostic for the rest of the season. I hope Diaw will level his game up. And let's hope Splitt will progress as he does.
All in all the situation cannot stay for a whole season, because again in the PO where the rotations are shorter spurs needs to have stable 8-man rotation.
I find it hilarious that this game led off SportsCenter last night. What a joke. If the Spurs had won there's no way they lead SportsCenter...
