TP is supposed to penetrate and kick the ball out...that is/has been our game plan forever...but this front court, more than any other we play, can shut him down because they are so quick and so long they can block his shots and his passes. For us to win against this team, our outside shooters have to be hitting. They aren't tonight, just like they weren't last year in the WCF. Add porous defense to that and it is amazing that we are doing as well as we are.

Still, think about with DeColo maturing, Splitter continuing to develop well, and Leanard back (maybe before next May?), and we are in nice shape for the end of the season run.

But we still have to figure a way to defend these guys better. So far, nothing doing.

Mostly at home too, so they definitely benefited from home cooking.
we all know they are freaking good, but comparing their schedule with ours and I am happy if we do not lose this game by 10+

Parker's been part of the reason for the Spurs last few losses. The Spurs just can't out score the other team when Parker's on the court.
He plays with the worst defensive duo on the team : Green and Neal.

but they called Tim Duncan "The Big Discount" because of his cheap contract
    My word.
Is it just me or are OKC's studio analysts also terrible? No analysis whatsoever, outdated information, and they're tripping over themselves to talk about Jeremy Lin in New York.

I love how all theses OKC reporters are so y, they've had an amazingly easy schedule, and will get their asses handed to them if they make the finals. Can't wait

The schedule evens out so I see OKC dropping games after this one.

Did Mills go to d-league or is he keeping Cojo's bench spot warm?

their length and athleticism on the perimeter allows them to defend the Spurs better than any team in the league. They're a tougher matchup than MIA even without Harden.

Oh really? I muted the OKC announcers at some point but I didn't find her particularly informed iirc. Was she good?

Mills would be a TO machine considering the Thunders defense ... Nando did a great job in the first half

Can't complain too much so far. Just really frustrating when Ibaka always shoots like Nash from the floor against us.

Hopefully the Spurs can find enough offensive firepower to keep up.

Can't afford a bad game from Neal right now.

As is, the Spurs are already undersized. Can't afford to put Mills at SG or SF.

It definitely hasn't been his season.

But I'd say that the Raptors are basically the Eastern version of the LAL as far as playoff odds go.
