I thought Boris would have lost more weight in the off season and gotten himself into better shape. Do you think that the Spurs wanted him at this weight? I think his game would be better if he dropped more weight and he gets in better shape.
If the Spurs wanted him to drop more weight, he would have. He's a PF at this point in his career. It's what we need from him now, with this roster composition.

That being said, I wish the Spurs would send him to Pete Newell's big man camp. Sean went while an NBA player and he said it did wonders for his overall game. Boris really needs to learn the finer points of rebounding position and post defense.

Actually Diaw is the ANTI-Jefferson: he disappears in the regular season and reappears during the playoffs.

I'd rather have it this way, tbh.

Bois is a scrub, low end bench player. He couldn't even make an impact on the Bobcats. I told you when the Spurs got him he was nothing special. People were expecting too much from him.

He's a disapointment. I thought being on a good team with his best friend would inspire him to have a good season but the only thing he does well is pass. He needs to do at least one more thing better be it defense, rebounding or scoring.

You could always give Blair Diaw's minutes.

Boris makes me angry because I'm a big fan of his game, when you see how driven his two friends TP and Nando are to get better and how he, on the other hand, can't seem get it together for what is an once in a career opportunity... I also don't think Boris react well to strict coaches but it's still on him...

Just watching him play pisses me off he has no passion and can't rebound worth a UCK. At this point i would rather see Bonner in there then him at least Bonner looks and act like he gives a . People who say he can turn it on playoff can you Please Give Me Some of that Stuff You Are Smoking..

The cure for Diaw is to put the ball in his hand and let him make plays from the center position for the second unit. He did that and had his best season with the Suns.

I have the same feeling about him as I do with Bonner. He's a playoff choker who I don't trust and fear he will cost the Spurs games. If he's not defending point guards in iso plays, he's a mediocre defender. He's a 3-and-mediocre-d player the rest of the time, who fails when he tries to do too much and when his three isn't falling, watch out.
    Danny Bonner at it again.

Diaw = Jefferson? Yeah Diaw is much too passive to where he's not taking full advantage of his talents but he's still cheaper and better than Jefferson for sure.

If Nando develops enough, he and Diaw can be the playmakers for the second unit, allowing Manu to start. This makes Green or Neal expendable. Both can be desirable trade targets depending on the teams involved.
