I would use table manners as a judgement tool than steak preparedness. Like stabbing your steak with a fork to raise it to your mouth and tearing the meat with your teeth lol. What if the person was doing that to a medium rare steak? He gets a pass?
It's just slightly above the fat hillbilliy tourists you see at the fish market on the pier ordering their lobster deep fried.

+1. That lobster died in vain.
Beer elitists are the only ones who really bother me. "How do you drink light beer, it tastes like water, you pussy!"
There's nothing wrong with a well done steak and eating it with ketchup, you're just stupid if you do that at a restaurant charging $15 or more for the steak.
That person may feel spending 15 dollars on a rare steak is stupid.
That's probably the same person who wears his hat in a restaurant, abuses the free bread (repeatedly asks for more), and answers his tracfone during the meal.
Lol.
I didn't realize rare steak is kryptonite for low class people. Learn something new everyday on ST.
It would taste different. The quality of the meat affects how a rare or medium rare steak tastes. A steak thats well done and smothered in ketchup is gonna taste the same regardless of the quality of the meat.
I'd rather drop the 30 bux and get me 4 big ass ny strips from costco and cook them whichever way the i want because i'm gonna eat it and say the restaurant steak. ripoff city. all of em.
as for milk, i'd take 2%, but wifey has gone to buying organic. i don't really care anymore and it tastes fine to me so whatever. i'm too old to give a .

What the is the point of ketchup on a steak? Why not just order a burger at that point?
What if the person wants his well done steak cooked to perfection by a chef with all the specialized seasoning and marinating? Why should he get trivialized for it? I don't believe all well done steaks tastes the same.
A well done steak doesn't taste like a burger, stop it.
How exactly does one cook a well done steak to perfection![]()
Don't typically order steak, but last week I ordered lamb chops cooked medium. Didn't matter - it was a fruity place that charged $100+ for dinner and gave you enough food to feed 1/2 a baby.
Maybe the guy doesn't like the sight and taste of red and burns his steaks at home to be sure there's no redness. So he pays for a chef to get it done right.
So he's incapable of overcooking a piece of meat? One can do that by accident.
Sounds like he's fully capable of making a well done steak on his own.
You can't read.
You was trying to say that if you put ketchup on steak, you might as well eat a hamburger. They both taste different with ketchup. It was a stupid post you made to feel accepted.
The last steak I ate was sometime in the 80's.
Don't miss it.
Weren't the 80's crazy? Everybody blowing and doing blow.
Are you gonna start calling redzero a cornball brotha cause he likes medium rare steak?
