Congrats to TD and TP, it's well deserved for both.

Clippers lost. If Spurs win 2 of their next 3 (@Mavs, Suns and Bobcats), Pop will coach the west regardless of what Clippers do. I don't really care about all star but it would be nice to have Pop coaching Duncan and Parker. It should be also funny.
Like someone else mentioned, it would be funny if Pop did some type of "restgate" joke during the game, like go to the other coach and tell them Tim and TP won't play tonight.

I don't get the Crawford thing. He for sure is no all star if I look at some other players.

How is a 42% shooter who doesn't rebound or assist an all-star. People are nuts if they think Crawford had a shot. He's not that much better than Gary Neal.

I'd even pick Gallinari over Crawford who is just like JR Smith (which I could see being an all star this year, cause he did play great when Melo was out) and Louis Williams. They are instant offense guys that shoot and that's it. And only Smith is the one that actually plays defense from those guys.

lol at the picture. timmy probably wouldn't mind playing 10 min. he says he doesn't care but he obviously enjoys being there. and it's in houston, he could fly the same day, play 10 min, have fun, and come back. but maybe he wants to rest that knee.

Same for Ibaka and JR Smith.

Coaches have done a great job at picking all star. You can make a case for Curry and Lopez but it's not like they clearly deserve to be in instead of another player.
curry break out year has no business being ahead of others who have performed consistently...or backup last seasons performance ...

1 trick ponies on a good year have no business making the ASG...

I'm probably going to get to go to all star weekend this year, so having extra chances to see Timmy or Tony would be cool.

Allstar voting atleast for the starters is a ing joke. How can you leave it up to mostly re ed fans who don't even know what the they're watching? Duncan should start outright he has outplayed howard, and that's with howard missing many games on a team that is out of the playoffs. stupid stern, him in his stupid ass!

Yeah... Nesterovic, Mohammad, and Oberto were all great Forwards.

i think Duncan playing next to Splitter quiets that sort of talk. And its not like Timmy has played a different role since Tiago was moved into the starting lineup (people can't say "oh well Duncan moved to power forward AFTER Tiago became a starter). Tim has played the exact same way before and after Tiago's insertion into the lineup. And if somebody argues Tiago is playing PF and TD is playing C then they are going way out of their way to make an incorrect point lol

Tim has been playing center all along. He's defended by the other centers, defend the other centers, it's really simple, when you play center at both ends you're a center.

all the clowns on espn boards are mad because tp9 got in, saying curry>parker, smh
I like Curry and wish him the best.
But I don't get how you make a case for Curry over Parker.
    1) Individual numbers:
    - same TS%
    - more point for Curry 21 vs. 20
    - more assists for Parker 7.4 vs 6.6
It looks the same until you consider per36min or PER
    - Parker 21.7/8.2 (PER 22.9) - 19.7/7.2 (PER 19.8) Curry

    Parker win!

    2) Team...
    Top 2 team... enough said

    3) +/-
Parker best +/- on the team, 3rd in the NBA
It is safe to say Curry will not close the gap using any advanced stats based on +/-

    4) Defense?
    - Team: Spurs top 5 defense, GSW middle of the pack
    - Opponent counterpart production (PER):
    Parker:13
    Curry: 16.2

    winning with science

Agree with everyone on Howard being a backasswards choice for starting C. Aldridge would have made more sense, and then Curry might have been picked as a reserve.

That's fkn insulting that Howard is starting over Duncan. I'd rather him just sit at home for that .

Jeff McDonald ‏@JMcDonald_SAEN Speaking for 1st time since All-Star nod, Duncan called it an honor, but (grinning) admitted he'd rather spend the weekend at the beach.

After last year's absence, Duncan said he had come to terms with the idea that his days as an All-Star were over.

Haha: "I kind of thought those days were done,” Duncan said. “It’s good to be back in the mix. It’s a weekend I’d rather be laying on the beach somewhere, but obviously it’s an honor and I’m happy to do it.”
