Some weird stuff going on. Is it because of Groundhog day?
Thank god Parker didn't get hurt when Wall tried to draw that charge in the 4th quarter.
The MRI is only needed to see the extent of tear. The initial test is simple enough. Lachman test will determine laxity. Laxity means instability. If it's instable, then it will move beyond what is the baseline. I'm pretty sure a trainer as good as Will Sevening, has baselines on every player on the team. It's smart because it gives the team a basis on what is normal. It used to be, at least back in the day, when I trained, that we just assumed that everyone's extremities were pretty much the same. But, being a Spurs fan, we know that, for the most part, the Spurs have been fairly lucky with knee issues. Sean doesn't have a a ligament in his bad knees, everyone knows about DeJuan, and with Tim, we've lost him once in the 2000 playoffs, but still....Let's hope Lady Luck, the Carmelite Nuns, the combined power of Spurs fans worldwide will have Tim back way sooner than later.
Be optimistic!!! #Stillthebest21

This times 1 million
lol, you gotta be kidding me. when it rains it pours.
Diaw at C? Bonner and Blair getting minutes?...
Baynes had better be alright and Splitter needs to stay out of foul trouble.
TD is sitting the next game out for sure and we need some bodies to throw at Pekovic.
Now Baynes? This is a ing nightmare.
Someone better ask about Stern's collection of voodoo dolls, tbh.
Let's also remember DA ADMIRAL is a man of faith and he's surely praying for TD right now.
This is something that came in threes: Manu, TD, and now Baynes. Let's hope it was just a minor three, though.
This also reminds me of the time Portland went 50-10 to start the season then Walton got hurt...![]()
Damn, just when I feel a little better, the Baynes injury happens.
Just keep kicking me while I'm down.
Are you ing kidding me!!!
More on Baynes:
Paul Garcia PS @24writer Baynes just tweaked his knee or ankle. He just headed to the bench limping. #Spurs #Toros
Told you Baynes should have played with the Spurs tonight. Pop got his ass handed to him by the basketball gods.
ING PATHETIC decision by the Spurs. There is no cir stance where I wouldn't have had Baynes in uniform for the Spurs tonight. Dumb stuff by whoever made the decision to send Baynes to Toros for tonight's game.
The Hindsight gods are out in force tonight.

I hate to be that guy, but injuries are part of the game. Every team excluding the Thunder (for some odd reason) goes through them.
It's not even close to the Spurs' organization's fault.
What would have prevented someone from some other team from falling on Duncan? I don't understand how you think any blame rests on the spurs
Well, Durant did get some bruised ribs tonight and briefly left the game...so maybe it'll affect him to the point where it sets them back a little bit in games.
Groundhog Day Decimation.
this. it's not even the injuries that bother me (well it pisses me off and I worry, but happens), it's that our biggest rival seems to not have to deal with a big part of the game. that's what pisses me off.
Yeah well the point I'm making is that freak injuries occur.
it's not Pop's fault.
Pop is responsible for Webster flailing into Tim's leg.

Now this is BS... why nobody called the Toros and told them to shut Baynes down for tonight?
Why would you shut him down? Whole point was for him to get experience. Duncan getting injured didn't make Baynes any more likely to be injured. If he doesn't get as much experience as he can with the game, it doesn't matter if he's hurt or not, we can't use him.
These injuries are nightmarishly unlucky, but not a product of poor management.
