Is a person sorry and scared for what they did, and the punishment that follows, or are they truly sorry for what they did without self preservation being the motive? Good people have moments of weakness, but some people, are only sorry they were caught.
When you get caught doing something wrong, was it something you really was sorry for, or sorry you got caught?

No, it is not. When there are so many different interpretations of a writing, that writing isn't clear enough. The Bible contains a lot of contradictions and general nonsense. It is not anybody's fault but the ones who wrote it and/or edited it.
It takes two sides to up something - the writers and the readers are /were equally blind/brainwashed/asleep when they took part in this.
So God was blind when he inspired the bible.
And to top it off, he ed people's communication skills up at the tower of Babel.

My answers or replies may not have satisfied you or they went over your head or were way out of your league - but I never dodged them. If a spiritual question was asked and the topic was concerning one of the mysteries of the universe - which you asked at your own peril- then you received an answer that you most certainly deserved - whether you understood it or not. In 20 years or so - you may suddenly stumble on some truth and look back and find that my answers/thoughts/statements that I made 20 years prior -suddenly will make perfect sense to you at that time.

But I will correct myself and say that you are right to an extent. Part of the reason there are so many interpretations is because believers try to justify the crap in the Bible that doesn't make sense or is morally repugnant.
As a non-believer, I take it for what it is--a bunch of writings from uneducated sand people who didn't really know much.
So, as anyone with a brain can see...sometimes words can trip stupid people up. Were the words to blame for Blake jumping to stupid innaccurate false conclusions????? Words are there in my original statement for all to examine.

You have also been asked how burden of proof doesn't apply to God, and your response has basically been, "It doesn't apply because it doesn't," which is a non-answer.
