Fisher. Maybe if we didn't leave his ass wide open he wouldn't have hit half his shots against the Spurs. Keep a body on him, always. Solved.
Yeah cause it's just that easy.

He will still hit an open 3 when it matters. You just know he will. Would rather them roll with Reggie Jackson.

OKC is well-renowned for their pediatric care/specialists so Fish is just doing what's best for his family.

Nevermind, I was thinking of meth and fried catfish. Derek's just a dirty, front-running POS that exploits his family like no other pro-athlete in recent history.

Exactly. No harden nor fisher was what gave me great hope at beating OKC this year.

Brewer and dipstick cant hold James Hardin's jock or jockstrap. Combined they are trash. I would love to see DFish try, just try to cover TP or even DeColo or Patty. They would run circles around the old man. Brewer is worthless on defense and will only get a few minutes from Westbrook. They present little to no worries for the Spurs.

Fish knows how to beat the Spurs...but he doesn't know how to beat this Miami Heat team.

D-Fish had a much bigger impact on last year's WCF outcome than many people here realize.

Fisher is a tool. The Spurs perimeter defenders just have to remember NOT to rotate off of him, leaving him wide open on the 3pt line, the way they did with Jarrett Jack, at the end of regular, in the Golden State game. After all, Kendrick Perkins isn't going to scare anyone on the offensive end.

Derek's impact on the Thunder in the WCF was more due to his locker room presence, leadership and defensive presence. His +15 in Game 5 was huge.

I also attribute the nasty at ude the Thunder had from the jump in Game 3, at least partially, to D-Fish.

It is a good chess move for the Thunder versus the Spurs. Fisher is old and a huge defensive liability, but he still has a penchant for making big shots at crucial times.

Never understood the appeal of a slow point guard that is a below-average to mediocre shooter, and averages less than 4 assists a game. Fisher's now 38 years old. I doubt he'd even be in the regular rotation with the Thunder.
did you see the guy in last year's series? mediocre shooter? dude looked like ray allen out there from mid-range and the three against us. i agree that i don't really think it's a big deal since harden's gone but you can't ignore the fact that he was a factor last year

huh. didn't look up the stats... well i remember one of the losses came after he hit 4 possessions in a row. i wouldn't be surprised if 5 or 6 of those makes came from one game

Never happened. Didn't have more than 4 baskets in any one game, no more than 2 baskets in any one half.

I think 0.4 has caused us to multiply every bucket we ever see Fisher make in a playoff game and to forget every miss.

I LOVE this move. (Signing Derek Fisher) It could mess with Westbrook's mind that his team just signed another point guard. I can see some implosion possibilities in OKC. All the sweeter to end his career in SA in game 4 of the WCF!!!!!
