Pretty disheartening to admit that Manu cost us this game.
I'm going the other way. Spurs by 26 tomorrow night. A win is a win and the team will be pissed that they let one slip away.

shouldve worn my ST shirt last night and the spurs would have won...![]()
I retract my previous comment.
It was the transition defense that did us in.....![]()
Definitely. Team apparently needed a wake up call. They're empiricists so the one thing they'll take from the game is that ball movement completely stopped late in the 4th and overtime. Apparently even really good teams like this years Spurs can, for 17 minutes at the end of a random game, lose the plot. Knowing that can happen, and result in an overtime loss to a team at home, is about as good a way to learn to not forget to move the ball as possible. Hence why Pop likes the occasional loss. Teaching opportunity; reminds the guys to remember to stay focused and work the game plan. It was a ty loss, but something a Championship team can learn from without getting dragged down. If they turn out not to be a championship team, then who the cares about a random Feb loss.
Either way, the thought that this loss will send the team into a tailspin makes me. Also making me
is the whole "reverse jinx I'm gonna predict poor results so my team will succeed" magical thinking.

tbh I nearly placed a bet on Phoenix +15.5 last night. I thought that line was way too high in a classic letdown scenario. I never imagined the Spurs would lose, though. Even going into overtime I was thinking more about margin of victory than the possibility of a loss. Perhaps the team was starting to think that way too?
Now I understand why blue text is needed.
Sarcasm: "Hi"
Randy: "I don't think we've met."
Should've just shoved him out of bounds before he could get there.
He just missed it oh well, happens. Of all the people on the court at that time I would want Manu to be shooting those free throws.
Anything, but leave him wide open!!
Exactly...give them the two foul shots and box out on the second shot. Spurs win.
Tomorrow night can't come soon enough. I can only hope a loss like this will be a huge wake-up call! Yes, it's great if we make every shot and free-throw, but you can't. You can avoid a wide open three at the buzzer for the tie.
