Its crazy that we sign an 15 year vet and he is 2 years younger than the player he replaces.
i wouldn't put it past tmac getting hurt by friday. what's next? they gonna sign greg oden in the off season(i hope i don't give them any ideas)

sir i am willing to paypal you some cash if that happens.
I understand. I just find it odd, is all. Jackson gets cut a week before the season ends and can't play until next season basically.
That's pretty in funny right there.![]()
T-Mac via Facebook a couple hours ago:
"Glad to be a Spur. It will be an honor to play for this great organization and the amazing city of San Antonio."
Not sure if anyone had posted that yet.
well hes been given a second chance. im sure he wants to go out there and prove himself. thats another good thing.
I don't how much longer I could bare Bonner getting minutes at the "3". This is a no-lose move. We'll see what he has left in the tank tomorrow.
Why stop there. Let's try and sign Yao Ming too. TD and Yao - Twin Tower baby! Tbh, this is an excellent signing. I knew FO would not do anything drastic and come out with nothing. They're too smart for that. TMac has better shooting percentage than SJax, excellent ballhandling, passing and facilitatng. Will not shy from taking big shot, not known for D but good size body. Most of all, here's chance to be in a winning team, he will take advantage of this chance and maybe even get that ring finally - well maybe. Go Spurs Go!
Players only get paid for the regular season. T-Mac himself said that he won't play tomorrow vs Minnesota. Are the Spurs going to pay him anything at all? Are they even allowed to?
Everything HH has said has been truth bombs tbh. So yeah it's tiring to quote it all.
NBA players don't play for free.
I guess Sean or Bowen don't need to think of a come back
I don't know if that's what the deal would be... but if it were a vet minimum contract prorated to one game, T-Mac will get about $16.5K to sit on the bench tomorrow.
Bang like TMAC
Where did TMAC say he wasn't playing tomorrow? jw
Having more playmakers never hurts in the playoffs.
Wait, did he ever make it of the first round??? I know he hadn't for a good while but stopped paying attention.
Pop's counter was to start Manu. I though the real counter would have been to start Jax who has a post game. Starting Manu simply took the ball out of TP's hands and made him passive.
Less fat Boris Diaw works for me
I like the move alot. I think those that say he won't play at all are wrong. He has to play. We basically have no choice. With Manu barely coming back from injury, Diaw out, and Jack gone, I expect to see T-Mac out there between 7 and 12 minutes a game or so. He'll be useful to give Kawhi some rest and play some 4 when the Spurs go small...
Only team he was ever on that advanced out of the first was the 2009 Rockets, and he was in street clothes the entire playoffs.
He has great court vision and can set people up for easy baskets. That alone makes me in favor of the move. The Spurs could use somebody else who can help create a shot for himself or a teammate.
Problem is his defense is probably going to be pretty bad so lets just hope he can have a positive affect offensively to make up for that.
