tbh it's more the term "outfit". You put together some nice pants and a shirt, sure you could call it an outfit but it sounds extremely feminine.
jesus christ, men don't wear outfits now? i gotta be getting trolled.

What is a suit?
exactly that. A suit.
oh i didn't know it was a gender specific term. should i call it a costume or uniform instead? i love semantics.
outfit's etymology is strongly masculine tbqh.
WTF, i wear crocs. sometimes with socks.
are they not cool anymore?
this is what i wear

bad used to mean bad too.
whew...so i can still use the word. i was seriously thinking of swapping it out with uniform or ensemble instead.
Cutting wires and lifting bricks = being a man?
You just fell into your own social stereotypeAt least you admit you follow the fashion trend of construction workers and cable guys.
Being a man is about taking responsibility, being secure of yourself, providing for your family and being the wall for your woman to lean on. You're clearly butthurt about people that make more money than you while you get a dollar for every brick you carry. So your only justification is "but, but.. Im a man!" You're insecure of your own 'manhood' that's why you get so offended by a random internet discussion about shoes.
You might be the biggest pussy on the board after that post, I don't think I've ever seen a "man" get so sensitive about shoes, worse than my girl![]()
inb4 a poster swoops in to save him
Back to topic, if you work on your feet- DarkReign is right, Red Wing boots are excellent. I caved in the soles of some Doc Martens in 9 months as a bartender about 10 years ago and was SOL.
yea that is a very good point and it also proves my point in spending good money for a decent shoe. correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't red wings considered a popular brand? anyways, he took a complete 180 to prove a point in what is or isn't "manly". i was asking about summer footwear, not work boots. electricians don't wear workboots 24/7, 365, doggie. if yhe's rockin' workboots with jean shorts, fine. if he likes sandals and chancletas like others, great. i didn't know it was taboo to get another person's opinion on shoes![]()
DR makes plenty of money.
LOL, saw the next post. I guess I am that poster.
Ensuring you adhere to a particular definition of masculinity or manliness is every bit as vain as putting a lot of thought into your shoes or your style of dress, the end result is just different. In both cases the goal is presenting a certain version of yourself to the outside world for judgment.
Like I said...........this still kills me. Dude throws on some baggy pants down to his ass and a Tshirt with sneakers, and dis niggra rolls out on the town with his girl in a nice tight sexy dress, hair, makeup, toes did wit some highheels. WTF happened to both people dressin on the same level when they roll out? that, when I go out with my girl, I represent and look as good as she does niggra. Tell me DAT aint playa mang.![]()
#this"mas puto"
What's up with men wearing sandals, nasty . No one wants to see your nasty ass feet, women are a different story. Totally normal for them.
I'm currently "rockin'" a pair of 75 cent flip flops when I'm not working.
just picked up some heather grey boat shoes by sebago.

Thx so much for that analysis
Just ordered these. Going to try Olu Kai's shoes this time, instead of their sandals.
Olu kai makes some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Their flip flops are absolutely awesome. I own two pair for the past 2 years that have held up great. Thought about ordering a third pair, but don't really need them.
took advantage of the macy's july 4th sale and ordered these kenneth cole sneaks.
