Back to topic, if you work on your feet- DarkReign is right, Red Wing boots are excellent. I caved in the soles of some Doc Martens in 9 months as a bartender about 10 years ago and was SOL.
yea that is a very good point and it also proves my point in spending good money for a decent shoe. correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't red wings considered a popular brand? anyways, he took a complete 180 to prove a point in what is or isn't "manly". i was asking about summer footwear, not work boots. electricians don't wear workboots 24/7, 365, doggie. if yhe's rockin' workboots with jean shorts, fine. if he likes sandals and chancletas like others, great. i didn't know it was taboo to get another person's opinion on shoes

Ensuring you adhere to a particular definition of masculinity or manliness is every bit as vain as putting a lot of thought into your shoes or your style of dress, the end result is just different. In both cases the goal is presenting a certain version of yourself to the outside world for judgment.
Like I said...........this still kills me. Dude throws on some baggy pants down to his ass and a Tshirt with sneakers, and dis niggra rolls out on the town with his girl in a nice tight sexy dress, hair, makeup, toes did wit some highheels. Just ordered these. Going to try Olu Kai's shoes this time, instead of their sandals.
Olu kai makes some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Their flip flops are absolutely awesome. I own two pair for the past 2 years that have held up great. Thought about ordering a third pair, but don't really need them.
