It doesn't matter if he has heard of any of them or all of them or none of them. Your almanac posts make no difference.
Ok...
Chumpie comes home late at night...puts away his squeegee and bucket and newspapers and overalls...
He walks in to his and Blake's bedroom and....
oh - Blake is getting a full facial of baby batter in his face from Julio the gardener and is smiling ear to ear....
Chumpie runs out climbs on his bicycle and turns his CD player on and he listens to......
I think I am getting the hang of it Avante...

No. We still wouldn't care or think it was special in any way.

I never said I listened to everything. I said I have either listened to, or have heard of, most of what you have mentioned, but that's not really the point. You continue to evade the issue because you are incapable of discussing music without making lists or posting youtube videos (how obscure can they be if they are on youtube, btw?). There is nothing tangible about what you are saying that would invite a conversation about music, and we both know that.
Yes. You organize it all into narrow categories rather than letting it all exist as a wider whole.
I am as confused about your need to consider that an insult as I am about your assertion it is a more highly evolved way of listening to music.
I already told you that I don't feel the need to be validated.
Of course I can. I can go back farther than you could fathom. I could, conceivably, look at contemporary blues through the lens of 18th century part writing. Don't know why I would do it, but I could.
Having toured extensively in the blues world, I've probably got a better handle on the pedagogy of blues music and the lineage of influences than you would suspect. Again, it's not a driver in my enjoyment of music, so I don't make a big deal of it. Certainly not to the point where I would proclaim superiority because of it.
I'm a multi-instrumentalist. I'm a degree'd musician. I'm published. I've toured. But, none of that is germane to how others might enjoy music.
There's alot you don't get, dude.
You sick pervert.
Well, you know.....![]()
Pretentious braggart.
I'm not pretentious!!!1111
fatty!
OMG, Creepn hijacked my login again!
How many concerts have you been to that featured, country, jazz, hip hop, zydeco, rap...yeah, me either. How many jukeboxes do you think have a playlist with...
Frank Sinatra
Charlie Daneils
Al Green
Peggy Lee
Ritchie Valens
Tom Petty
......there? Try, none. Ever buy a CD featuring reggae, country blues, big bands, classical, pop, hillbillie on it, yep, me either. Why is that?
Hit a club and see how many different kinds of music the band plays.
All of the new ones will have all of these artists available.
Not that anything you posted makes any difference.
Well if you can go back further than W.C.Handy when it comes to them old blues you'd be the first. Trust me slick, I go back as far as it goes when it comes to music. Yep, pre-records. So cool this silly..."I can fathom"...ok?
I don't care what you've done in music, it's all about the homework.
You like to make mix tapes. We get it.
It's a ing mix tape. My daughter made them in 5th grade. It's not the end product of generations of evolution.![]()
No, he wouldn't.yYu read a book! Probably had a lot of pictures, right?Trust me slick, I go back as far as it goes when it comes to music. Yep, pre-records. So cool this silly..."I can fathom"...ok?
Enough homework to, you know, get a degree.I don't care what you've done in music, it's all about the homework.
lol @ homework. Trust you? Yeah, I'll get right on that.
It's about what fits, that's where the knowledge comes into play. Keeping with a theme.
I'm sure my degrees in music are easily trumped by Avante's imaginary prowess. .
It's. A. ing. Mix. Tape.
