I actually read this, hoping that it wasn't a troll attempt/reaching response to the Kobe thread, but alas...
One thing you don't understand is that defenses were so keyed in on Duncan that Manu and Tony were allowed to go buck wild in the paint/get open shots. If you look at how Manu scored in the 4th quarter of game 7, you'll note that he clearly benefited from Timmy's presence (something that simple stats won't show).
Also, in 2005 Duncan was playing on two bad ankles during the WCF/Finals and one bad ankle in the first two rounds. In the WCF it didn't matter since Phx played absolutely no defense, but in the Finals Timmy faced arguably two of the best defensive bigs of their generation in the two Wallaces, and he held his own.
In 2007 Duncan had an off shooting game in game 4 against the Cavs, but he did everything else for the Spurs (a basketball game is positively affected by more than just scoring, something Kobe fans don't understand). In every other closeout game he was great. Not sure what you're getting at in this year.
Also funny how you leave out his 2003 and 1999 closeout performances.
