What exactly did I submit to? Go ahead pigmy, bump till your heart's content.
hill is the rare guy who's getting paid about what he earns. and thats bad. george gonna look at his contract and be like "lol, give me the max then"
What exactly did I submit to? Go ahead pigmy, bump till your heart's content.
A lot of this is based on his contract. Its funny how much of NBA player evaluations are based on contracts. Same guy makes 2 million and he's a steal and everybody loves him.
i think a chucker is one that doesn't want to pass and prefers to take ill advised shots, but hill has been wide open so many times that he had to shoot a lot. He wasn't taking bad shots, it's just that he was ice cold, he usually is not that bad and defends very well.
So then by that line of reasoning, if Roy Hibbert was open from 25" he should shoot.
Also, PG, < 5 assists a game, shooting 34%, playing 35 minutes a game.
There's a reason he's open.
You're such a ty poster. A lot of it comes from your love of this term "chucker" which you throw around and then act like its some kind of high level basketball analysis. Hills TS was 55.8 perfectly fine, efficient shooting. He could help himself by getting to the line more if he wants to increase his shooting efficiency. Learn basketball.
So, Steph Curry is a chucker because he shoots too many threes even though he hits 45% and a 55.8 TS is inefficient shooting. Just to summarize.
What exactly is a chucker?
No, he's a chucker because he takes ill advised shots even if he makes them more often than most people would. When he's off, he still takes those shots. Some of you seem to think the term "shot selection" only applies to average shooters. It applies to everyone. Heat check on every possession is bad basketball.
I, for one, call chucker a guy who constantly takes ill advised shots and "forget" his team mates that have better looks than him... see Bryant, Iverson... Hill is not in that category imho.
As mentioned the other teams let him open so when he is on the floor he must take these shots, better taking those than passing them. When Diaw / Bonner are wide open I get mad when they don't take the shots cauz it kills the offense and you never do something good out of that. Even if they miss team is on position to grab a rebound.
Hill the guy who supposedly was good enough to trade parker according to spurs fansis a borderline nba starter, I believe he would be better at SG. Never saw Hill as a PG tbh.
well no, if he doesn't have that range, that's automatically an ill advised shot. Hill has shown he can knock those down.
So you think 32 percent on wide open shots means he has "that range"?
he's a career .37 3pt shooter which is good enough..
Only 35 in the playoffs, and that's where he is now.
Kevin Martin is shooting 36% in the playoffs from 3 and 38% from the floor.
Is that good enough for the Thunder?
If Curry and HIll are chukers
what does that make Ginobili, Bonner, Green and Nealand Parker and Duncan for that matter
we have an entire roster full of chukers according to the OP![]()
Ginobili is a 3 time champ, bad mother ing gold medalist (beat the USA).
Green is a chucker
Neal is ty rapist chucker
well he's a chuker now
He's an anomaly. He has other things he does that makes his chucking bearable. Hill doesn't really do anything else. Cannot dribble, isn't a good time management person, isn't clutch. Manu is a clutch mother er, game closing bad Argentinian beef master.
Would you rather have Manu or Hill taking the last shot of the game when you need it to win? Would you close with Manu or Hill if you had to choose?
it would be if he wasn't a turnstile tbh
So it's not good enough.
it wouldn't even if it was .420, since Hill is not a turnstile, that percentage is decent tbh.

Danny Green averaging less than 9 shots per game and is a chucker
es about homerism the gives an elnono-esque take on Manu (not that i disagree tbh, but he's playing favorites. if you call george hill/danny green chuckers, Manu HAS TO apply)
by his standards chucker = a guard that scores more than 8 points per game besides Manu
