I feel sorry for their kids. Tim seems to be such a devoted family man. I don't like that the E-N dug this up. They should have respected Tim's privacy for all he's done for this city. Leave it to other sites/publications to dig something like this up.

That was my initial reaction. Maybe the divorce rumors are true maybe they're not. Maybe someone cheated, maybe not (there are other reasons people divorce after all). But E-N only confirms why no one takes most newspaper journalists serious. Let TMZ or some other outlet do it. Tim's only elevated the city beyond anyone's imagination in the world of sports. And please don't come out with some lame thing like "we just report the news".

Divorce is tough. Having gone through it once I don't wish it on anyone. Having kids it's magnified. Sometimes it's the right decision. You look to things to help you through it. Tim has his drive to win. He'll be fine.

Tim winning this award would be just a "oh wow" moment but when you see the whole team around him and hugging him you can tell something is going on in his life.

This sucks. I remember reading that SI article back in 2003 where Amy told the story about how Timmy eventually won her over and convinced her to marry him. Through the years they've been very private, and Timmy has always seemed happy with her and the kids (at least from our superficial vantage point). I hope things work out for them and their kids.
