I notice nobody has been able to argue that any of the past 30+ Western champions are worse than the 2013 Spurs. All I've heard is that the East is weak too, that Serge Ibaka once hit a bunch of jump shots, and that the Wizards suck.

So it is firmly established that the 2013 Spurs are the worst team to win the Western Conference in 30+ years.

It's funny that people don't give the Spurs any credit. If Heat sweep a team, it's because the Heat are just that good. Spurs sweep a team, it's because their compe ion is weak. Heat played the Bucks (lulz wut) and Bulls (without their star) and now actually have to play a halfway decent team in the Pacers (who would've been 6th seed in the West).
