The Game of Thrones facebook page has a lot of people saying they are done with the show. I'm with you on taking major characters and killing them off.
They are?
I was just saying this might make some people stop watching. That scene shocked even me and I live for shows that take major characters and kill them off rather brutally.
Spartacus and Dexter are the ones I think about when comparing shows on a brutal scale and I personally think Game of Thrones wedding scene trumps all those combine.
The unborn child stabbing really ed me.

I hear your words like the midget is saying them, what's his name, Tyrian?
Jon Snow and Ygritte is a cute little love story, and they both sincerely care about each other. He was really torn on what to do...
"You know nothing, Jon Snow."![]()
To me this was the best episode of the series.
wtf did i just watch? I hope lil arya gets out ok. Lets go Khalisee.
I don't understand the outrage over the Starks, tbh..I felt the same way when Ned Stark died, too..
They're such a cuckold family, they absolutely deserved to die, tbh..
The Starks are too naive and crippled by their "honor" and morals, tbh..it felt good watching Robb Stark, his annoying wife and his y mother die, tbh..
I hope Bolton and Frey get laced, too, though..Frey looks like he molests 7-year old boys, tbh..
Unreal episode, though..
Arya and The Hound should be a great duo, I love the new long hair that will inevitably penetrate Khaleesi and it was good to see Bran finally contributing to the story, tbh..
Yeah I do agree, the Starks are pretty stupid in general. I would say only Arya hasn't made stupid decisions.
Ned's stupidity led to his death and I got tired of waiting for Robb/Catelyn to make their attack on the Lannisters.
I do really hate the Lannisters though and am hoping for their downfall, especially Cersei.

Robb Stark was a horrible leader from the beginning, tbh..he made too many mistakes..
The Starks don't have the genes for leadership, tbh..
I hate Joffrey and Cersai, but I actually like Jaime and Tywin, tbh..Tywin regulating Joffrey is increasingly entertaining..
I don't want to be spoiled by the book readers, but I'm hoping that Tywin and Arya meet again at some point..
The Stark's honor system ed them over. I liked them, only because they're the good family and the show is centered heavily on them. I'm team blondie now.
The Lannisters are a ed up family, cant root for them imo. Little is the only good guy in there. Also as of the past few episode Jaime has been alright. Othewise those imbreds, specially that tool Joffrey. Cant wait until he gets raped with a sword through his ass.
I agree with Robb being an unofficial cuck though. His mother is one of the dumbest es in television. Basically Robb died because of her.
Catelyn was every bit as annoying and y in the books too. Seriously, one of the characters that really ing annoyed me.
A guest on Bill Simmons's podcast was saying that the GOT producers were afraid for the actor that plays Joffrey because people want to start fights with him in real life..
I hate him as well, but the actor they chose for the role has been absolutely perfect, tbh..everything about him, from his dialect to his ing hair cut, tbh..
I don't think I'll be able to wait a year without reading the books or spoilers, tbh..
Me neither.
I actually have all the books up for reading right now if I want to. Just not up to it.
I even downloaded the audiobook for easier inspiration and still couldn't commit to them. The audio books are about 16 hours apiece.
Do you know if it's one book = one season? So then book 4 would be the one to read after this season finishes? I'm not sure I can stomach dude's writing, but I agree the long wait sucks.
I don't know about that. He's got the at ude and down, but in the books he's tall and handsome. The actor they got to play him is kinda short and re ed looking. lol
I'd advise you to start on book 2. I think season one of Game of Thrones was equal to the book, but books 2 and 3 were better than the show.
Not definitely sure but one season does not equal one book. Maybe for the first season that was true but I keep hearing how many stuff is been lefted out in the show and still cant pack everything on a season. Specially things that happened in "A Storm of Swords."
SupremeGuy could probably fill you in more.
Naw, I think that's asking too much. I tried reading the first book after I'd already seen season 1, and the flabbiness of dude's writing coupled with the fact that I knew the plot made it an impossible task. But I'm thinking that I like the story enough that I could enjoy the book as long as it's not covering territory I'm already familiar with from the show, which I'm guessing would be book 4? Eh, maybe if the last few eps wow me I'll be motivated, though I like not knowing what's going to happen week to week. Bleh, just thinking out loud.
See, there you go.
They did a similar thing with Dexter. Followed the first book dead on and then kind of branched out from there.
Try the audiobooks. Only effort is listening to some gramps. lol
Same with True Blood I believe.
But GoT follows the books closer thsn the other two. They just kinda did their own thing after the first book.
It's been a few years since I read the books, but I think this season of GoTs will end before book 3 ends. There's still a few things that needs to happen and I don't see it happening in the span on one one-hour episode.
