Then there's reality, here I sit with over 50 years of watching NFL games/reading books/reading magazines/studing the history of the game vs a bunch of kids. No wonder you don't get it, you don't know enought. So you try all you cant to paint in abstract in an attempt to hide the fact you are over matched. You think that knowing the names of record holders and the high schools they went to and a bunch of other game show super nerd bull actually makes you more intelligent than someone else. The Niners have one of the or maybe the best O lines in the league. They have without question te best linebacking gang. Now add a sold D line, a young QB with "star" written all over him a great back in Frank Gore one of the top TE's and in Boldin one of ther best "most the chains" receivers in the league. What's not to like and now add all those rookies.
How many posters do we really need doing that?

This is the great thing about the internet these days; it's possible to find something that hits the exact sweet spot of guilt free comedy. Some stories of self injury are too soft. Bubba takes a 2x4 to the nuts, some half wit films himself faceplanting trying some ill advised bike jump, etc. The things that people walk away from usually with a scar at worst and possibly some measure of viral fame. You end up chuckling but on some level resenting the fact that their stupidity was largely consequence free. Then there's the ones that are too hard. I can't laugh at someone putting themselves in a wheelchair for the rest of their life no matter how foolish and reckless their actions were, nor would I be derisive of parents turning to such methods for aid in the wake of such an event. And then there's times like this where it's juuuuuuust right.
And once again you posting a trivia list isn't you being different, it's you being an attention got. And when you drop the "I'm 75 years old so of course I'm smarter than you kids!" along with it, then you're just being a condescending attention got. Plenty of those here. Dueces. I don't have a problem with learning, I have a problem with condescending attention gots posting lists about things and then trying to say that because they are able to post that list, then they are a smarter person than someone who cannot post that list, or if knowing a lot of about what is essentially a hobby counts as real knowledge.
I don't have anything against knowledge Avante. When you post a list or try to school someone up on whatever it is you're talking about that day, you're bragging, not teaching. Difference. But because no one here wants to talk to you about the 60s, we're just "staying stupid" right? I have the entire scripts to two different movies memorized just because I watch them all the time. I get that. But you don't see me going on forums and acting like because I can do that makes me a better person than other fans of those movies. And that's an extremely accurate analogy of something you do constantly.
