yeah, Horry's 3 and his 14 pts in 4th+OT won that series, bailing out Tim's horrible Game5. If Spurs had lost game 5, they come back to SA needing to win BOTH game 6 and 7 (they lost Game6)

as mentioned, should be more compared with horrys 3 in 2005 finals, imo
yeah, that 3 still wins to me, we looked hopeless there, and the pistons got completely surprised, here we were 2 ahead and only in game 1, not to mention the way i screamed at the horry 3 can't be repeated

Without context, definitely Duncan's shot. Much less predictable and just crazy. But since it was on the finals stage, I gotta give it to Tony.

But it shouldn't be. They would have won anyway. Still an incredible moment though.
Far from a guarantee. I know I sure as did not want to give the ball back to Miami with 5-10 ticks left and a 2-point lead. They have been deadly in those situations, and I was having flashbacks of Ray Allen's three from the Substantial Sanctions game.

Last shot was really lucky, tbh. It shouldn't overshadow the absolutely brilliant spin move Tony put on Norris Cole on the earlier possession.

If we don't win the series then it doesn't mean . So that should answer your question.
So Duncan's shot didn't mean and this one might.

Parker's play is going to be one of those ones they play in slow motion to pimp the finals. If the Spurs win, it will be one of those ones they play to promote the playoffs and finals for years to come.

Duncan made a great shot in a round 1 playoff. Parker made a shot in the NBA finals. How can they be comparable? Tony's is more significant if we win the le. Duncan's was great at the time, but less meaningful because we didn't win the le that year.

What about AJ's Championship-winning jumper in 1999? No love for that one?
