We are in a great position, home court advantage in The Finals with 1 ROAD win under our belt. We showed rust in Game 1 and still won. IT is amazing now to see highlights from the season, the Blake Griffin dunks, the Jamal Crawford crossovers, the Javale McGee midairblocks while he talks on his cellphone, Durant's 3's from the next block...and they're all on vacation right now. We are the last team standing, with home court advantage in The Finals and 1 win under our belt. Gotta like it.

The mental and physical differences between being up 2-0 and going on the road, and being up 2-0 and coming home for three games are many and varied.. it is like night and day tbh. The situations arent even comparable.

And this is the Finals. Motivation is at its highest for the players and fans alike. Part of the reason I lol at this 'Miami still coasting' talk.

Not saying it won't happen, but the Spurs stole HCA, something the Heat worked all season for taken in 1 game. It can be taken back, and I expect HCA means little at this level anyhow unless it's a Lakers/Celtics matchup.

This. People are getting too confident after Game 1. I fully expect Miami to win game 2, and wouldn't be surprised if it was a 10+ point victory. (I'd actually prefer this than a 1 or 2 point loss). Spurs can play better than Game 1, but so can Miami. Lebron and Wade have already said Game 2 is a must win game for them. They're going to come out extremely aggressive and take care of business imo. Series will go back to SA 1-1. Then it's up to the Spurs to take care of business at home.

Plain stupid is betting against 100% odds. No Finals team has ever lost the first two games at home and come back to win the series.

In fact, only three teams in NBA Finals history have ever lost the first two on the road and come back to win.

If Game 1 was a shocking upset to Heat fans and the NBA world, then imagine if the Spurs win Game 2; the impact would probably be five times greater.

i agree our chances of winning game 2 are slim to none but some of you guys make it sound like Miami is unbeatable when they face a must win situation.

If winning game one was unlikely for the Spurs, winning game two will be very unlikely. Miami has shown that after dropping game one it comes out firing in game two (especially now considering Miami will be in a huge whole if it loses). Even if game two turns ugly, it's not the end of the word because the Spurs will do what they need to and win at least one of the first two away games.

What would the media say? It was funny how soooooo many of the experts that picked the Grizz to beat the Spurs kept making excuses, "it is just one game, oh it is just two games the playoffs don't start till someone loses at home, or remember what the Thunder did to the Spurs last year" until it was 3-0 then they turned on the Grizz like a pack of wolves. If/when the Spurs when game 2, with 3 games in SA, what would they say then? How would they spin it? Or would they just start their break up the Heat talk? Because we all know that it won't be praising the Spurs to be as wrestler CM Punk would say, "The Best in the World!" Agree with everything, but not sure about the last line. I really feel if Spurs win this, that it will be the same. All next year it won't be about the Champs (If it's Spurs), it will still be all Kobe, Lebron, OKC, and everyone else. They won't want to give us a chance of repeating. They will see it as this year is our last shot and thank God for that, at least in their view. Hope I'm wrong.

If this really happened - and I'd be really surprised if it did - then I'm honestly not sure which I would enjoy more; the fact that the Spurs had a commanding 2-0 series lead with three games at home coming up, or the "sky-is-falling!" panic that would ensure among Heat fans - and getting to read all the news articles that surprised media journalists would have to write.
