I just flew in to go to game 2. I think the spurs will take game 2. I think that game 5 will be the close out game for the spurs.
I did.

Doesn't have to be a sweep. If the Spurs win in 5 games, then the series would technically not need to return to Miami.
That's the kiss of death..
Thanks Chuck..
Point is, the Spurs probably aren't going to win all three games in San Antonio, whether they win or lose game 2. If they don't want to return to Miami, they need to win game 2.
So you're saying we aren't good enough to win three straight at home????
Spurs would either have to win game 2 or win 3 straight at home...not impossible, but also not likely...Spurs probably win this one on the road...
Who the is we? What position do you play?
Teams don't usually win all three at home since the 2-3-2 format came into being. It would be stupid to count on it.
You guys realize that nothing any broadcaster or analyst says has any bearing on the actual games, right?
Well, to be fair, the Spurs have never played in a Finals where they didn't have HCA, so you never know, they just might sweep at home and win in 5, even if Miami wins tonight.
If Miami loses Game 2, they're getting swept. Book it.
Prove it!
I say Spurs in 5 if we win tonight. If we lose tonight I feel like we'll win in 6.
For all the people that complain about the 2-3-2 format, the finals is probably the round where home court matters the least. At this level everyone is capable of winning a road game. The only time home court really matters is in game 7 if the series gets to a game 7.
Hey, I'm all for that. I'm simply saying that it would be foolish to count on it. You and I both know the Spurs are going to go out and try to take this game.
