Korver and Dunleavy aren't what we need. Those guys would be replacements for Neal's role, not Manu's. Manu can still play that shooter's role and occaisional slasher's role. What he can't do is play the 2nd unit ballhandler's role anymore. Yes, he can occaisionally (once every 10 games maybe) look good doing it, but half the time in between he may look like and the other 4 average at best.
That's what we need to address. Imo, we need to be looking at combo guards. Shooters who can handle the ball. People like, but not neccessarily including: Jamal Crawford, Jarret Jack, George Hill. You know?
Shubazz Mohammed (who we won't be able to get) would be a good choice via draft.
Via free agenecy, there's Nate Robinson and Jarret Jack. Nate is probably the cheaper and better choice, because he can sort of simulate Parker when Parker's on the bench, plus he can play alongside Parker as the SG as well (he did this in Chicago a lot last year, and it worked really well).
Nate or Jack imo would be huge, huge free agent additions, and I really hope the Spurs go after them if they don't trade up in the draft again.
