neither of them matter to the Spurs. One sucks balls and the other doesn't fill a need.
This. Don't think even the Hear would want to mess with them.

I`d like Harrington to come. Spurs need tweener, and he`s probably best one available

Harrington is long past the stage where he could defend SFs. Or simply defend, for that matter.

Harrington is good. He may not be in his prime anymore, but he adds toughness, and a good range on his jumper. He's still a very good player.

If Harrington can regain the form he had in 2011-12, he would be a valuable asset. A very reasonable risk for a vet minimum contract.

Don't doubt for a second that RC hasn't already put in calls to both Jacque Vaughn in Orlando and Danny Ferry in ATL to ask exactly how much Stevenson and Harrington have left in the tank. Spurs will have better insider info on these guys abilities than other teams, thanks to the FO connection.

If the Spurs don't call up either guy, we'll know their tanks are empty...

There's nothing about the Spurs being linked to or interested in them. The article just says that they cleared waivers. OP suggested them.

I know, I was referring to fans wanting us to get NBA geezers like these. People wanted Kenyon Martin earlier, too. Maybe it's more a want to get a player just to get one since our offseason has been very quiet aside from Belinelli? Who knows? But we have way more than enough old guys on this team.

    Got ya.

I also think Pendergraph is going to be an underrated pickup. Just my opinion though.

I hope you are right, if both work out here then the offseason was not that bad because we lost nothing really and added Belli and Pendy, hope both fit well.

I agree with that as well. Seems like the sort of guy that would blossom under the coaching staff here in SA. Might even be one of those "Spurs stole that guy, it's just what they do year after year" type of signings.

Harrington would be a good fit as a backup SF.

He`s not SF. He is smallball PF. He cant play along with Duncan and Splitter on the floor.
