People forgot about Jay Elect though. Can't wait for him to drop something.
you heard the original version with Jay E? his verse was dope too but k dot got the innanets talking last night cuz of all the shots he threw. jay electronica album is going to drop on the same day as detox
Jay Elect is a once in a lifetime sort of artist, that's just my perspective. I don't think I've ever skipped through any of his tracks, and that is important for me as a listener.
As far as Kendrick is concerned, I think it's good that someone is stirring things up. And I'd certainly like to see some battles take place on the larger stage, because it has been all bubble gum non sense for the longest. If you inject battling back into the larger stage, it forces people to start respecting lyricists again. But I don't like how he excludes the so called heavyweights. If you're the man, then you just are, don't pull punches.
Yeah. If you're gonna diss people then diss everyone, even legends. The fact he excluded some took away from the effect. He mostly went after soft s like Drake, but not understanding the diss of Cole. AND he was on a Big Sean song![]()
Pretty much this. But for me, with how things have been the last, damn a long timeI'm glad someone has started a process that hopefully revives a vital part of the culture.
I don't even see what Kendrick said as a diss. All it looks like is he's telling the 'New class' of hip-hop to keep up. He's even 'calling out' Big Sean and Jay E, who even spit on the same track.
Basically. He is telling the new era of rappers to get on his level. You gotta respect it. I never seen so many rappers catch feelings on twitter from one verse than I did last night.
If that counts as a diss track these days, then Pac is rolling over in his grave tbh.
"Hey guys i love y'all but i think i'm the bestest rapper of us all! And if you don't like it you can take my constructive criticism and use it to up your game!" Yeah that's some real Mobb Deep there.
And im not a lil sean fan but that was a decent verse from him.
And he said he was king of new york, oh god! Maybe now all the new york rappers will stop rapping like they're from the south and get back to giving us bars.
Kendrick is the man, but I don't see that being too much of a diss, imo.
this is garbage. late 80s/90s rap is the best, everything nowadays sucks ing bawls.
what happened to hardcore like this...
sorry but i take your opinion on hip hop/rap with a grain of salt. what video is this anyway?
you're kidding right? turn in your black card trill
being down south i thought you'd listen to better than that crap tbh
a is at work and the vid is blocked, doggie.
big daddy kane tweeted praises for the track and kendrick's verse. he basically told these rappers to stop catching feelings on twitter and go to the studio and prove king kendrick wrong![]()
black twitter is giving me so much life today lol!
