Kobe failed to win a ring with Payton, Malone and Shaq.
Kobe failed to win a ring with Dwight Howard
Shaq won a ring with Wade before Kobe ever saw another Finals.
Iverson, nah ain't no way...T-Mac or prime VC yea, but not Iverson.
Kobe failed to win a ring with Payton, Malone and Shaq.
Kobe failed to win a ring with Dwight Howard
Shaq won a ring with Wade before Kobe ever saw another Finals.
Iverson got to the Finals pretty much by himself... oh I forgot, and Eric ing Snow.
Can't argue with that.
I know spurfan likes to live in fantasy land and pretend they swept the Lakers with Kobe but we all know that was not the case. You can't fail to win a ring when you're injured and didn't play a single minute of playoffs.
3 Finals and 2 rings without Shaq, 2>1PERIOD
Now go to bed senile old man.
Whatever you say man.
Kobe chased Shaq out of town and placed the er on a rocking chair. Just ask Thread. You'll never hear the end of it, and I love it.

Pussies and assholes
So going to the Finals counts now?3 Finals and 2 rings without Shaq, 2>1PERIOD
Now go to bed senile old man.
Shaq doesn't need that comparison, He won the 1st 3 for Kobe, so it's really 3>2 Shaq. I mean, Horry won rings without Kobe or Shaq, don't see you using him as a standard. That's because anyone who wasn't the alpha dog on the court doesn't count because they will NEVER be in the conversation. No one is comparing Steve Kerr's 5 rings to Duncan's 4.
Rocking chair eh, you mean like how Shaq won a ring shortly after he left town? That rocking chair?
lol
Shaq
Malone
Payton
Pau Gasol
Dwight Howard
Steve Nash
Ron Artest
and Kobe only has 2 Finals MVPs
Lebron has 2 Finals MVPs
Wade
Bosh
Ray Allen
(crickets)
Tim has 3 Finals MVPs
David Robinson
(crickets)
Kobe rode Shaq's prime to 3 rings. Kobe was 26 years old when Shaq left, and Shaq was 32. It stands to reason that Kobe had more championship opportunities than Shaq after that point, especially after the gift. Imagine Shaq coattailed another great player for 3 when he was as young as Kobe was while he was riding Shaq's
Not immediately, but soon enough.
So you're just going to arbitrarily place Allen, and Artest in there but you won't put Parker or Ginobili?
Really?
Shaq ring chased and coattailed half the NBA in an attempt to one up Kobe but in the end 5>4 prevailedPERIOD
![]()
Daddy was scared less after Kobe rang in 09, so he went on to coattail LeBron. And then Kobe went up 5-4 on him the same season![]()
Old man is definitely going senile. Alzheimer is hitting you hard i see.
Robinson
Manu
Parker (who Jim coattailed to ring number 4)
2x COTY winner (although Pop displays DMC levels of senility nowadays)
Neither Parker nor Manu were even starters when they joined the team.
Let's not pretend having 4 HOFers is the same as having 2 guys who will one day be great players. No revisionist history.
Ever consider getting your own schtick?
^ 2005? HOFer Manu's ing prime?
^ 4-time champion speaking![]()
not sure if you read anything i said
Manu was an all star in 05 and Parker in 07, that's ring 3 and 4 right there.
You said:
Shaq played for 4 different teams after he left the Lakeshow, that's seems like a good amount of opportunities to ring chase tbh. Let's not forget the years Kobe spent playing alongside scrubs like Kwame, Smush, Walton etc.
You and half the ing forum are desperately trying to convey the idea that unlike Kobe, Jim did it all by himself and carried a few scrubs that were nowhere near their primes when the spurs won 4 rings and that's not true.
