Did they ever give a shoutout to the Spurs? They should have, seeing as how 3 of our players are there.
PARIS, FRANCE - SEPTEMBER 23: French basketball players Boris Diaw (L) and Nicolas Batum (R) enter the Elysee presidential palace on September 23, 2013 in Paris, France. France won the 2013 EuroBasket Championship. yesterday by beating Lithuania 80-66 to win the 2013 EuroBasket le
Bruno did Parker talk any Spurs related stuff on his radio show today?
He didn't talked about Spurs. It was all about the European le.
BTW, thanks for all the pictures, news and videos you're posting.
No problem, and figured that was the case topic wise with his show, but figured I would ask since I saw a tweet from the shows twitter that the show would be on today.
We know how Manu/Spurs responded after Manu won Gold at Olympics in '04, well lets hope that trend continues with TP/Diaw/Nando.
Great stuff, especially liked the part about Pau.
I heard that TP took Ajinca under his wing during training sessions and last I heard he was looking for a camp invite... Problem is there's no room for anyone once they add a sf. Wish they'd get rid of De Colo and bring in Ajinca.

LOL Turkey!Never did anything outside their country, didn't even make it through the first round on this weak eurobasket.Give it to Greece,at least they have a chance to put up a good roster.
Pop interview in today's french newspaper about the Euobasket le:
France won the Eurobasket with 3 of your players
To win for his country has always been one of Tony's priority. He wanted this medal badly. Before the game against Spain, I talked with him about the need of being aggressive, of trusting his teammate, of being a winner. There were so much excitement in his voice that he sounded like a 12 years old kid. He was proud of his team. I talked again with him before the game against Lithuania. He just went to the hotel rooms of everybody to encourage them and be sure they were ready. He didn't want to miss that opportunity.
There is some emotions in your voice...
After the final, I told two things to Tony. First, I'm so happy for you because he puts you at another level. You have now a special place in the history of french sport. Second, I told him how proud I was for the improvement he made. He hasn't just become a better player, Tony has become a leader for 2 years. I'm very proud of the level of requirement he is now asking at his teammates whether it's with Spurs or FNT.
Do you have a good relationship with Vincent Collet?
He is a good guy who is doing very good work. To be champion, while they didn't have all their players, tells a lot. I'm happy for the coach and for the FNT. And Boris has played a big role in the last two games which rejoices me. Nando hasn't played as much as I thought but he has been a good contributor. This extreme happiness, this crowning will also help them to evacuate the loss against Miami and to arrive at the training camp with a communicating joy of life.
Given the tiredness and the risk of injuries, do you never regret to see TP playing with hi NT?
I'm constantly worried about a possible injury, especially with Tony and Manu. But the NT is a part of their life. I think that playing basketball in a well organized structure is better than playing games without some kind of supervision or to lose his shape by doing nothing.
Will the three french Spurs be able to recover during the the training camp that start on October 1st?
We will told them to take it easy during the first week at Air Force Academy in the Colorado. They won't do a lot. Maybe a little shooting and that's all. They will be able to take a breather.
hard to find anything that doesn't tell class act about Pop.
prediction: the anti Pop force on this board will still find something.
this! This extreme happiness, this crowning will also help them to evacuate the loss against Miami and to arrive at the training camp with a communicating joy of life.
How right you are.
BTW this trophy has to be positively the ugliest one in the world.
Tomorrow, TP will play a charity game. In his team, there will have Batum, De Colo, Parker's brothers, some other french players and Corey Maggette, which is damn random.
Training camp invite?
At least the medals are nice. Minimalistic, but nice.
