RIP spurraider.
crofl, I didn't know this either--but it's great that he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar again![]()
Kevin Kolb got cut after 2 seasons
Sidney Rice is still getting paid that much with little guaranteed money left on his deal since Seattle feels he's worth the money
"Rice didn't do much with Hasselbeck"
I owned up to mistakes I made. Bad memory =/= making up IMO. I guess you need to alter your pie chart and give Sidney rice a bigger cut though, since he's an elite WR with one season over 750 yards
For the coup de grace, one of your bogus comparisons. Kolb never had a full productive season to warrant a contract. Rice was a pro-bowler (iirc) on an NFC powerhouse in 2009. And it matters because people much smarter than you who are around football all the time decided he was worth that contract.
You fought the good fight, though. Try more fact-checking and less lying as you develop as a poster.
It was his catch that set up the first TD iirc, so your attempt at sarcasm backfired.
Not your day, is it?![]()
It makes it so? are you serious?
That money sure made Fitz a talented mofo. Jake Locker LOL
How about we just boil it down to see where we stand. Here is the list of qb's I'd take over Russell Wilson.
Peyton, Rodgers, Brees, Brady, Luck, Ben, Ryan, Romo. Probably Flacco too. Also tough to rule out Rivers in this resurgent season, and Eli has the hardware to back it up as well. Still, I doubt any of those 3 make the seachickens noticeably better. Care to add to the list so I see how far off we are?
Not my finest ST moment tbh
i still fully stand by my conclusions, though
Btw, Rice in fact set up their 2nd TD (not first) with an amazing, elite-quality catch where he tiptoed the sideline falling out of bounds. Check it out on the ESPN recap.
I'd take Cutler, Eli, Tannehill and Stafford over Game Manager as well.
I'd take Eli and his 2 SB's over him as well. Sure this season's a dumpster fire, but it'll be Eli's first under .500, and he of course has no defense and the last-ranked rushing offense in the league.
Stafford as well for sure...maybe Cutler too, but he's so damn inconsistent although he's asked to do more.
Tannehill only has one more loss than Wilson with a significantly worse supporting cast and a victory over Luck + Matt Ryan.
and Russell Wilson last year
truthbombs
But cutler in the bears for years has had an elite defense and a good running game and now has good receivers
how many playoff wins does cutler have? And lol stafford. Predictably garbage when Calvin is out. Jump ball tosser extraordinaire who has broken records for attempts in a season, naturally inflating his stats despite mediocre completion percentages and ypa
So basically all this fest over the past month or so about Wilson boils down to you guys liking cutler stafford and tanehill more than Wilson![]()
I just hope a couple of my comments in this thread get buried for a while. Let's tax on a couple of more pages pls
This " fest" dates back before this year, mostly due to Avante and the NFL forum black panthers glorifying Wilson as much as possible.
And it gets annoying when Wilson has a pedestrian, game managing performance followed by Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin on NFL network acting like Russell Wilson just led a team to a 19-0 season hyping his performance up as much as possible.
Stafford plays with a horrific defense and led the Detroit franchise to its best season since Wayne Fontes was snorting coke off hookers' asses. Cutler has taken his team to an NFCC game.
Wilson is part of a team that was then only 2 years removed from their most iconic franchise win (still), advancing to the divisional round. Last year they beat a one-legged QB to advance to the divisional round. Yay.
Who's in the black panther party?
Creepn, Trill Clinton, JaytheClown, Huey Freeman, and Avante himself.
