It is not "religion" that is being debated here. That is just an interesting sideshow.
What is actually being debated is the existence of a Supreme Being.

You did not state emphatically that He did not.
Rather, you only stated that just because one believes in right or wrong, does not necessarily mean that it must come from a Supreme Deity, or even from believing in such a One.
In other words, the jury is still out.
And that is a healthy skepticism if you ask me.
That same skepticism is what has guided me to what I presently believe now, that God does indeed exist, has always existed, and will always exist.

That's not a negative opinion. Change all powerful to all loving and that's a philosophical paradox...........which is a very solid reason to discredit OT God.
