You didn't miss anything, he subbed in the at the end of the first quarter for the first time.
Meanwhile, nice post move by Thomas against Weems down low.
Thomas playing very well right now, didn't catch the game from the beginning tho...

any live stats for this game?
Thomas only played about 5 minutes in the first half but managed to score 7 points. Nanterre have been looking to get him posts up in the mid post area letting him create 1 on 1. He is a bit unlucky to be playing behind Will Daniels who is their top scorer with 16 points so far.
Nanterre kinda falling apart, Thomas should get some minutes because they need new solutions on O...
DT scores on a tough shot down low off a broken play and draws a three point play opportunity but can't hit the FT. Nanterre has not looked for him at all this quarter which is kind of strange. The guards are jacking up too many shots.
Yes clearly an issue... They take bad shots too...
The Nanterre coach is losing the game for his team, calling plays for a guy who is 0/5 from 3...
Well the shot was wide open.. but yeah. At least Thomas checks back in for the last 2:30 of the game.
Really good game offensively for Thomas showing a little bit of everything. Too bad the guards had to shoot that poorly. The upset was definitely possible. Nantere should find more time for Thomas in the rotation. Today, he definitely deserved more than the 15 minutes he got.
Thomas with 10 points at halftime:

Good stuff. Seems he's finally getting comfortable after a rough start of the season.
Offensively it's a real pleasure to watch him tbh, he's awesome in the post and can shoot as well, he has everything...
25 pts now for Thomas with 1 min to go in the game.
Under the right cir stances (Thomas continuing to play well, Nanterre not advancing in Euroleague and Spurs still with an open roster), Thomas might turn into a serious option to be signed around the new year.
But the real question is how is his defense?
There is no NBA position he can defend.
I also don't see the Spurs signing him (or anyone else) to a full year deal before they see what may be available in the buyout market in late Feb/early March.
I'm glad Thomas has been able to elevate his game, I hope he can sustain his play now. It's also good to see that his coaches comments didn't effect him.
