The thing that really is interesting is that I wonder how much does the CTE issue, the Jovan Belcher/Paul Oliver/Junior Seau issue (or even the Sandusky cover-up) play into how big this issue is. I mean, Martin could've decided enough was enough and came back with an AR-15 and lay waste to the locker room. The whole issue is really an interesting one because you have the media jumping at every which way. You have those saying a racist isn't someone who says the n-word, which, is partially true but let's be real here Incognito is as racist as they come and on the other coin, Martin might be a big softy and handled it very well. I guess, though, as a society where we wonder why someone walks into their high schools after years of torment to only shoot and shoot until a body count is achieved it is still misunderstood. I don't think either one plays another down in the NFL. I do, however, see Martin resurfacing north of the border or something along those lines.

the culture of the nfl is to be this hyper masculine-aggressive man who shows no signs of "weakness". martin is the exact opposite and unfortunately for him, he was drafted by a team who chose his worst nightmare as its unquestioned leader.
Incognito is a bag no matter what (after all, you don't get kicked off two college teams and voted the NFL's dirtiest player without being one), but if Martin really was laughing Incognito's behavior off before, this is a CLEAR cash grab by a player who wasn't that good and doesn't want to play anymore, tbh....

The fact that the team backs Incognito probably has less to do with what a swell guy he is, and more to do with what an extremely oddball SAHWM Martin is.
Possible, but either way, Martin got the proof of him calling him a half N*** and him wanting to defecate in his mouth. That's all he needs to back up his words no matter how many teammates backs up Incognito.
