Come on, you're looking at the glass half full and you know it.
Timmy has 3 main offensive moves in his arsenal: post-up for easy lay-up / dunk / hook shot, bank shot (a bit farther away from the basket) and finally mid-range jumper from the top of the key.
A couple of years ago I remember him struggling with his bank shot, which was mind-boggling because it used to be his signature move with very high efficiency. Now, as we saw yesterday against Utah, his bank shot is back, he nailed all of them I think. On the other hand this season he's obviously struggling with his jump shot (check the beginning of last night's game, and it's not a fluke). So the OP has a point when it comes to Tim's J. It's his weak point right now. He tends to brick 4 or 5 of them in a row in the 1st quarter of games before finally moving on to what works: hook shots, bank shots... then he gets his confidence back and finally nails a couple of jumpers. It's been a regular occurrence this year, really, and I'd say it's worth being concerned about.
