All signs have pointed to defensive backs coach Terry Joseph leaving Nebraska to join Texas A&M after the Aggies interviewed him and offered him the job last week. A former NU recruiting target, River Ridge (La.) safety Mattrell McGraw, confirmed as much in aRivals.com interview when he said Joseph offered him a scholarship to Texas A&M over the weekend. McGraw played in the Semper Fi high school all-star game this weekend.
“I’m chilling in my hotel room and I got a message from Coach Terry Joseph on Facebook,” McGraw said. “He told me he was on his way back to Nebraska and he’ll be back Tuesday to sign a contract with Texas A&M or something like that. He told me they need safeties and they need a baller like me and they would love for me to come down and visit on the (Jan.) 17th. And if I wanted to come to Texas A&M, I have the offer.”
Nebraska was McGraw’s fourth offer, but he said in the Rivals interview he wasn’t interested in NU and told Joseph so. Still, Joseph continued to maintain a relationship with McGraw throughout the season.
“He kept in contact with me just in case anything were to happen and when he got the Texas A&M job, he made the text over Facebook,” McGraw said.
McGraw said A&M’s entire coaching staff started following him on Twitter right around the time Joseph made the offer over Facebook. Here’s a tweet from McGraw on Saturday night.

Texas fan getting a hard on for this guy
if you think Winston is better than Johnny. Put Winston on an average team and he's just not good. He thrives on being surrounded by incredible talent. Similar to AJ McCarron.
