Given how respected TD is, I'd be a bit surprised if he doesn't make it in. He got off to a slow start, but since then he's been fantastic. I think the order of likelihood goes:

If you watch Griffin this year, you can see he's developed a solid post game. And while he's still not a great shooter, he's certainly improved his mid-range game.

Just because you only see highlights of Griffin dunking doesn't mean that's all he does or all he can do. He's improved as a player, and to be honest, has probably played better than Duncan this year. Let's give credit where credit is due.

In what world does great offense + average defense + very good rebounding = a ty player...?

I completely agree that CP3 is the driving force of the Clippers and the most important player, but acting like Griffin is completely dependent on CP3 and he's a scrub otherwise is laughable.

I though so to but advanced stats don't really show it. He has a 101 defensive rating (2nd on the Clippers) has logged the 2nd most minutes on the team and they are 8th in defensive rating.

Not as bad as people make it seem. As I mentioned earlier, he (DeAndre Jordan, too) has improved under Rivers. Is he a great defender? No. Does he get abused nightly by other PFs and constantly hurt his team's defense? No. As I said, he's an average defender. The Clippers' defense gives up about 1.1 points more per 100 possessions when he's off the court compared to when he's on...but part of that has to do with their frontcourt depth being horrible rather than Griffin being good defensively.
