This is how the voting works, for those who don't know (apparently a lot of people around the internet):

The top 2 vote-getters in the backcourt will be starters. The top 3 vote-getters in the frontcourt will be starters. The rest of the all-stars are chosen by coaches, not by fans.

    BTW, here's the entire list:

    Eastern Conference

So as of now, this is what the starting lineups would look like:

East - Irving/Wade/George/Melo/LeBron (yes, this is how it works)

West - Curry/Kobe/Durant/Griffin/Howard. If Kobe (or any other starter) is injured, I believe the coaches pick his replacement(rather than the next highest vote-getter automatically getting the spot. Don't quote me on that, though.

Who cares, how hilarious would it be if we won the Finals without an "All-Star".

There is zero chance we don't get an all-star. Spurs are too well-respected around the league. At least one of Duncan/Parker/Ginobili/Leonard will get in as a reserve.

You didn't hear? We traded Duncan. Spurs listened to SpursTalk after reading the "Duncan is done" threads

    I fixed it.

Kaqwi would be fine since he is the younger one.

General curiosity: If a player is named to an All-Star team (by votes), but doesn't play due to injury, do they still get to count that All-Star game on their resumé?

Given how respected TD is, I'd be a bit surprised if he doesn't make it in. He got off to a slow start, but since then he's been fantastic. I think the order of likelihood goes:

    Duncan > Parker > Kawhi > Ginobili

I think they donīt unless they pull a Kobe, he was like 30 seconds one game a few years ago.

Lots of players had ty starts and less pedigree than TD and made it, but Tim is losing votes year after year, it seems people is now voting for Blake Griffin you know, the dude that can just dunk the ball.

I think the replacement player for an injured player is picked by the Commissioner.

Ahh, you're right. I remember Stern was the one who picked Brook Lopez to replace Rondo.

I think the whole "Griffin can only dunk" thing is played out. Did Griffin "only dunk" when he walked all over us and dropped 27 points when they blew us out? If you watch Griffin this year, you can see he's developed a solid post game. And while he's still not a great shooter, he's certainly improved his mid-range game.

Just because you only see highlights of Griffin dunking doesn't mean that's all he does or all he can do. He's improved as a player, and to be honest, has probably played better than Duncan this year. Let's give credit where credit is due.

He still is a ty player, canīt make freethrows, and while he is developing some mid range shots he will be decent in about 5 years.
The only reason he dropped 27 points on us is because CP3 was there helping him, by just seeing the box scores this season I remember like 6 games where dude score over 20 points or more.
No CP3 and no 27 points like the last game, kind of Amare without Nash, I donīt hate the Red Gorilla I just find his cold face kinda disturbing.

Err...Blake Griffin averages 22 ppg, and just scored 29 last night without CP3. The previous game against Orlando he scored 16 points in just 23 minutes of playing time (they blew out the Magic and he didn't need to play much in the 2nd half).

Griffin played without CP3 in his rookie year and averaged 20+ ppg, and he's improved since then. He's not ty. He's improved defensively under Doc Rivers, although he's still not a great defender. I'd probably say he's average in that aspect. He's also shooting over 70% from the FT line this year. He's a very good rebounder. In what world does great offense + average defense + very good rebounding = a ty player...?

I completely agree that CP3 is the driving force of the Clippers and the most important player, but acting like Griffin is completely dependent on CP3 and he's a scrub otherwise is laughable.

I though so to but advanced stats don't really show it. He has a 101 defensive rating (2nd on the Clippers) has logged the 2nd most minutes on the team and they are 8th in defensive rating.

Not as bad as people make it seem. As I mentioned earlier, he (DeAndre Jordan, too) has improved under Rivers. Is he a great defender? No. Does he get abused nightly by other PFs and constantly hurt his team's defense? No. As I said, he's an average defender. The Clippers' defense gives up about 1.1 points more per 100 possessions when he's off the court compared to when he's on...but part of that has to do with their frontcourt depth being horrible rather than Griffin being good defensively.
