Please. This dude has the most horrific takes I've ever read. There so ing stupid tha I have to read them twice to make sure I was sure what I just saw. I mean Keith ing bogans checking durant/lebron instead of Kawhi? Give me a god damn break.
You're arguing that Bogans/Gee can check Durant/Lebron?

Not as well as Kawhi for sure, but having Hill would be an upgrade on a defensive scheme on a smaller guard and remember that we'd still have stephen jackson because he ultimately left because he didnt get any minutes and was frustrated
so its more of bogans/gee/hill + stak5
Nah. I like mute. One of the laziest trolls ever, but people keep falling for it. I'd only pink him if he makes threads too frequently. And I sure wouldn't ban him.
Stop, stop, stop, stop, STOP. You are just making it worse.
I hope he is a troll. Because I dont want to believe someone can be that stupid.
Threads aren't necessary. Sure, we sign cheap plays on flyers to potentially fill roles and it has worked out. Threads about signing players who haven't played in years because they were good in 2005 doesn't make any sense.
We are a small market squad. Draft picks and cheap signing of players who fill specific roles keep us from over paying to compete for a le. Leonard, Green, Neal, Mills, Baynes, Bonner, De Colo, Joseph were all making below $4 million dollars last season. This season Parker Duncan and Manu are making a $29 million, Kobe is make $30 million. S.T.A.T and Melo are both making more than $21 million dollars this season. There is a good reason while we aren't big spenders.
This season we have the best record in the west, on pace for a franchise record, and are 1 game back from the best record in the NBA. The Knicks, Bulls and Nets are all (or were, in the Bulls case) paying the luxury tax just to compete against Miami and Indiana.
same thing with going after overseas player right? someones overlooked or someone who people "taught" were done but isn't really or someone whos had a bad luck with injuries but is fresh and ready now who can fly under the rader who we can sign for the vet min
He showed his dong. That cannot slide in this franchise.
1. Jackson was acquired in a trade for Richard Jefferson--who became truly expendable because the Spurs drafted Kawhi; so you can't assume that the Spurs would still have Stephen Jackson.
2. Even if you could assume that the Spurs would still have Jackson, he didn't leave of his own free will...he was waived; Jackson complained about wanting an extension, and it sounded like he was bitter that Manu and Green were ahead of him in the depth chart.
3. Alonzo Gee was waived in Nov of 2010 and Keith Bogans signed with the Bulls in the summer of 2010...so their departure didn't have anything to do with drafting Kawhi...
One of the things i really enjoy about these boards is the give and take between posters that leads to better understanding of the game/team/league...I've certainly had my share of misinformed posts and learned a lot from the corrections offered by the board members...having said that, i really don't understand this whole "trolling" bit...i don't understand why people would do that...how is it entertaining to bait people and waste goodwill? But then that leads to my problem of assuming most of these posts are sincere and thus falling for "trolls"...sorry, that became way off-topic...it's just that it's hard to tell what the right response should be to these kind of posts/takes...
OH LORDHill is not near Parker on O for one and not near the PG he is (He was in MVP votings last year), Hill dissapeared against the heat bigtime, Bogans sucks on O bigtime, he was horrible here in SA pretty much. Gee just NO! Jack 5 he is done and not on a team now if I am correct? I will take Leonard and Parker over that crap anyday you just put above and smile. You can't be serious sir.
This sounds like a walk off shot. Right on all points. Watching Hill play point guard against the Heat was downright painful at times. He basically held the ball until someone magically became wide open.
The good thing about mute and such is they're easy to tune out because it's so stupid. The bad thing is that you end up tuning out 90% of this forum, because the crap posters have ing proliferated and a decent post has become a rare bird here. Meh, ST is like SAS, it's the regular season so who cares.
Mute said that he won't post for a month if the Spurs beat the Blazers next Friday.

We traded him 'coz Spurs will sign Wagner and Lafrentz.
mute is an incredible troll. Top notch work.
He was on another level. Tbh it must have killed him to hear Parker call Tiago the euroleague MVP.
He certainly has nba dong on his mind.
Well, at least he referenced the correct Pacer George this go 'round
wtf the centrepiece are you for real you must be pulling at something cos this can't be serious.
What incident?
They moved him because Tony Parker resigned at a good price. He was bound to get a bigger payday when his free agency was up the following year. I agreed with moving him and time has shown it was the right deal. Leonard has been much more effective for us (minus a FT in game 6) in the playoffs then Hill ever was.
Mute has to be a laker or dallas clone poster.........They are the ones who start crap like that
WTF is the OP talking about? Can someone pm me, because google is no help.
And yes...muting mute sounds like a good idea. At least take away his thread starting privilege.
