There's nothing sad about it, Jim Buss thought he was going to walk in, get a bunch of super stars, win championships and become a legend like his dad. It seemed like it was all going well when they easily got CP3, then when that didnt work and he got D12 and Nash I saw all of the Laker fans sucking his mushroom tip like he accomplished something ( I cant say I wasnt impressed myself).

However, when push came to shove, Jim wants things his way and it DOESNT work. I honestly dont see Laker fans allowing things to go on like this for more than another 2 seasons before they call for Jim's head. 1 thing I know is we dont have much going for us sports wise believe it or not, no one gives a about the Kings, Clippers, and only Mexican's watch the Doyers here.

If Jim doesnt turn it around I can honestly see riots breaking out.
This city is built on :UCLA/Lakers hoops, U$c football and Dodgers baseball. Sure the fans are predominantly hispanic ffor the boys in blue but there is an old school fanbase that grew up on Tommy Lasorda and Vin Scully.
Either way win or lose Lakers are still top dawgs. In 1988 when dodgers won behind Orel and Kirk Gibson fans were more focused on the Lakers trying to repeat ...

MWP, Odom and Barnes were the ones who usually were up for fisticuffs when a Laker was threatened. This team isn't too keen on comrodary.

The team is full of players with one year deals and minimum contracts Nobody is losing dough for that. It's ed up indeed and it's a lockerroom code to stand behind a team mate but most of these guys are not going to be there next year, so no sense of throwing away money for fake camaraderie, is what most of these cats are thinking. What Marshall did was a move but he was also a Sun not too long ago, I see why he was neutral in that situation.

No one cares about Swaggy P. I wouldn't defend someone that has an overbite and never passes either tbh..

Look at the lack of leadership and accountability that a Pau-led team provides. smh

Who's the highest paid player on the team? It's still a Kobe led team which is why they are losing and have poor chemistry tbh..

That wasn't even funny. What was funny was watching Swaggy P get pushed around and bullied and you crying about it trying to jump through the screen

Pretty hard to lead when you do not contribute. So salary = leadership? In DPG's world?
Look I agree it is Kobe's team but he has to play for that to matter.
Is Amare the Leader (or one of) for the Knicks?

No - Peyton was out. Kobe came back, ruined team chemistry (see their win% with and without Kobe before he killed chemistry) and very publicly dogged his team that was playing well above their heads without him by saying "they weren't world beaters..".

    Huge difference.

Not only that - Kobe while injured inked a deal that showed everyone he didnt care about winning which was demoralizing.

Even better point. DPG has been off his game lately . Still my boy, but it has been disappointing ,uch like the Lakers season. Well, maybe not THAT bad.

ROFL. Great sample size there ...
Yep it is all Kobe's fault ...
Which is why he also gets full credit for all 5 rings.

Wait, what am I doing? who cares?

If you can't see the glaring difference in the Manning situation and Kobe I don't know what to say. You in fact said "great point" to the Manning comparison.

If he were on the tank/ratio bandwagon, then I could understand coming off the bench and getting suspended. But unlike the rest of the organization and fanbase, MVPau isn't on board with losing on purpose and quitting. He's not a quitter/ratio guy
Nah, he just likes to give less than 100% for a few years.
