That's why we won't get past the super-athletic teams like the Thunder or Clippers.

Mickael Pietrus, James Johnson or Casspi. There are more. The Spurs needed someone that can play just for 10 minutes.
General proficiency otherwise? This is the same franchise that went the majority of the season two years ago with four bigs and with no true back SF three seasons ago.
They love being physically over matched by the contenders. When the Lakers were on top and they desperately needed size to contend with them, they constructed a big rotation with one player over 6-9. Now that they need size at SF and versatility at the forward spots period, they've built a team with 1 and 1/2 players fit that description.
Bringing in a NBA level talent at the perimeter when you're missing Green/Manu/KL is a solid move tbh.
great sign.
1. we need a player who can get to the rim and ft line.
2. we need athletic players
3. we need hungry players
he fits the bill.
ppl cry about kl needing a sub, why? if his 10 minutes on bench without a "true" sf costs us a series then we weren't as good as we thought, or even close to a ring.
biggest takeaway from clips is how are blake and farmar in nba? im better than either.
Funny how hes listed at 6-4 but hes shorter than parker on the court
I never liked Brown but not against him on the team since least he's athletic. Good move by Spurs.
If his finger/hand injury is serious enough, might have to sign another 10 day guy tomorrow
he got poked in the eye and hurt his hand,
just bad luck tbh
So what 6-2 guy are we signing next?
dunno, but he'll probably start... DLeaguers must be super-excited now
Most disappointing thing about Brown's injury is that we're going to continue to give Cory Joseph minutes
Was it really that serious?! I didn't really pay attention.
GIVE THIS MAN A 10 YEAR CONTRACT

Nothing wrong with that, we need someone who's willing to lay someone out if the situation arises. He's on our team now.
The solution is always more point guards.
You guys didn't notice Boris was our backup SF tonight?
I definitely did. There were a couple of lineups out there like Diaw-Ayers-Splitter or Diaw-Bonner-Splitter. Was weird to see the Spurs actually playing...big.
I wouldn't mind having two or three guys like that on the team
Miraculously, it's just a jammed finger and he won't miss time.
can we start Errors at the 2 and hope for a season ender?
This move does not make sense. An undersized scoring guard is not what we need. We need a wing man that can defend. There are guys available like Mickael Pietrus and Josh Howard. Why don't we bring Maggette back in? We liked him enough to bring him to camp.
