Hill isn't a PG, but , the way TP plays, he isn't either. Tony is much more shoot first than Hill but at least Hill can drain a 3, spread the floor, and play solid defense.

I like Hill as a player. I like Leonard better in the long run.

Hill probably would have left SA in 2012 for a new team if the Spurs had not traded him in 2011 for the Leonard pick due to pending Free Agency.

The Spurs were happy with the deal as were the Pacers.

Threw in a game tying 3 near the end of regulation and got to the line 12 times, just like the old Hill used to do. Yes it was a double overtime game, but still... WOW! Not bad numbers for a guy who everyone claims is "not a point guard".

Everyone learns at their own pace. I wouldn't call Hill's development fast by any means, but point guards do take awhile to get the necessary skills. He's only going to get better and better the longer he plays. Remember when folks used to complain how he couldn't run the P&R?

Jesus ing Christ how many years does it take? Hill will never be a good PG. He's too stiff, doesn't have the moves nor the court vision. He plays good defense because of his length and because that's where he's focused his efforts. It's probably the only reason he's in the NBA.
