Hill also held Lillard down last night - he only got 40.
Paul George was guarding Lillard. Would have been worse had Hill guarded him.

actually Hill guarded Lillard for most of the game, it was only until the 4th when Vogel sent PG on to him. To be fair, they were running Hill through loads of screens, most of them by Lopez who is 300 pounds with Hibbert as the hedger. Hill usually still recovered enough to get a hand in the face but Lillard was just red hot and continued that way even after George was assigned to him.

One of the refs also gave Lillard a free 4pt play where there was no contact at all, or at most slight contact near the elbow while Lillard was gathering himself to go up with the shot. On the next possession Hill gets whacked on the arm by Matthews at the release point (and drills the shot) and refs sit there stupidly pretending nothing happened. So you can actually subtract a point from Lillard's total and give it to Hill.

Why not change your team to "George Hill". Just saying...

And James Anderson got his own thread when he went off for 36 points like 2 months ago and all his fanbois had to drop by and give him a shout out. Did you get all butthurt about that, too?
You need to learn the difference between butthurt and amusement. And between statistical means and anomalies.

Yes But my money is on that Kawai is gonna walk anyway. As for Hill, he is a decent stop gap point guard but he isn't one to run a team for 48 min. He is a natural 2 and will always favor that I think.

Stop gap lol. I don't think Indiana feels he is merely a "stop-gap". He's the bonafide starter and has been for the past 3 years, and his skills are steadily improving. This game far from being an "anomaly" as some claim just shows that he has what it takes to succeed. That the ball was in his hands 80% of the time when the game was on the line against one of the hottest teams in the league proves he is coming into his own. And to me, that screams point guard.

Leonard isn't going to walk. That's silly. Players don't walk in RFA. People need to stop perpetuating this idea. The only way he's not with the Spurs in 2015 is if the team lets him go, provided he's not dead or in prison or something like that.

Exactly. Nicolas Batum is a perfect example to all these people that are saying that Kawhi will walk. Absolutely stupid takes. Batum tried to walk away from Portland because he didn't like his role there, and he he even told Portland that he didn't want to play there anymore and he asked them to let him go, but that made no difference whatsoever as Portland still matched. No way they were going to let a player like that walk away for nothing. At the very worst, they match and trade him later. If you're a RFA and the team still wants you, your chances of going to another team a very, very low.

The Spurs are more cautious with the contracts, money could be a factor in their decision about Leonard. The Spurs would match any offer to keep Leonard? If Leonard receives better offers than Batum, the Spurs are going to match expensive proposal? I don't think so.

They won't let him walk for nothing. They only way they'd let him walk for nothing is if they had a superstar player lined up and needed the cap space to sign him outright.

He's getting extended next off-season anyway, but yeah, they'll match a max offer for Leonard if they have to. It's really not that big for a player in his position, and the team seems to believe in him.

Regardless, that's being outbid, not being forced to let him walk. It wouldn't be Kawhi's choice.

They won't need the space, as he'll be in a similar situation as Splitter was last off-season. If he makes it to RFA status, Kawhi will only count for $4 Million in cap space until he inks a deal. The Spurs will have more than max money under that scenario.

The ? That game didn't happen in the '09 season.

The game George Hill owned Kobe (the game depicted in the gif) was in 2011, the year the Lakers got swept by the Mavs. But hey, you're only TWO YEARS off.

He is so inconsistent it's ridiculous. I luckily have him on my bench in fantasy, he had the big game when I started him but I won't dream of starting him unless he has 4 starts in a week to another guys 2, that or injuries and I have to.
