The fact that it has made this much noise is an indicator that society is still not as accepting as we may like. The sadder part is that the dad would choose Applebee's to drown his sorrow. I mean, if Michael Sam is a great player and earns millions; who do you think is going to look to upgrade to Red Lobster when the mudslides become mundane @ Applebee's.

I worked a company that employed around 600 people obviously there was a gay guy. Now was he made fun of by 20-40 year olds, yep! Where my daughter works there is a gay worker, she gets talked about.
