He shouldn't have started the season at first place, he should have rest all first half of the season...
Blessing in disguise. Rest and renewal from what looks like a bum ankle and Probably a huge amount of fatigue
He shouldn't have started the season at first place, he should have rest all first half of the season...
I'm not saying the spurs at this point have a chance at anything. You were comenting about Duncan, just saying he will be fine...
Yeah, he will be but his le-winning days are over.
2009 Lakers are the perfect example of this. Weakest western conference we've seen in the past decade and nearly every one of the Lakers opponents were injured in the playoffs. Needed seven games to beat a Yao-less Rockets team.
Like I said a few weeks ago, he should have rested the whole road trip.
Well, I guess Cojo could use the playing time.
Brazil taking a ginormous on the "follower"
Ok, I stand corrected. It makes a lot more sense to me then.
According to who? It counts according to the NBA's website.
What? Couldn't understand you with the Ambiguously Gay Duo and Mouse's s in your mouth.
If you're selected to an All Star game ure credited weather u play or not!
So Greg Simmons just reported on KSAT 12 that Parker sprained a finger on his non shooting hand right before the All Star Game? Anyone else see this?
I bet Parker takes 7-14 days to rest up and get healthy, and comes back with fire in his belly for the last 20 games of the season. Good for TP, good for the team.
This may turn out to be a good thing for the following reasons.
1. Tony needed a rest because of his NT play this summer. Really poor decision on his part to play, especially after a 7 game series.
2. I don't like the Spurs relying on Parker to score as much as they do. He's better as a # 2 or # 3 scoring option. More pts from KL ?
3. More play for the back-ups to get confidence and playing time.
We are a better team with Tony on the floor but I think he's most effective distributing the ball more than shooting. The record may suffer a bit during his absence but like many have said, he needs to be 100% for the playoffs.
Parker never got close to the max during his career here.
I imagine the deal included no provision against international compe ion.
At least he got hurt on company time as O'Neal once put it.
The CBA does not allow for such provisions.
"Sports championship history?" That's quite a bit of an exaggeration DD
You can probably count the number of times a team/player has had one (or two hands) on the trophy only to lose it.
-2013 Spurs
-2011 Rangers
-Jean van de Velde (BO)
-Phil at Wingfoot
Bored today, DD?
I don't think we see TP back till Mid March, Probably around the Portland game.
Biding my time till March 1st, brotha...gotta get it all in now.
Kinda figured.
Your takes are horrible, but I find this one very funny lol
He's probably included as part of a trade so he's not being played so he doesn't get injured before the trade is completed.... -jk
