Yes. anyone worse than errors isn't seeing floor time, or are playing for teams like the Bucks.

That ALONE is scary!
That's not true. Ayres is without a doubt the worst player on this squad.
Shannon Brown, tbh. The happened to him?
Ayres will have company very soon.
You haven't been watching much Shannon Brown, have you?
He is likely in the bottom 10
He's in over his head, just like Bonner, most of the time when they are on the floor. Ayres doesn't have the skills to make any real contributions. It's just a dunk now and then, and he cannot even grab a rebound if anyone from the other team is in the vicinity. In fact, the Spurs seem to give up 2nd attempts on almost every other play. It's ing pathetic how ty we are at rebounding.
This season yes. If you cant catch the ball go play something else.
Doesn't belong in the nba, one of the worst spurs players I've ever seen. Can anyone honestly name a single thing he provides the spurs with other than 6 fouls to give?
Haven't seen anyone this bad since Udokas final year here
Spurs worse than Ayres
Bonner
De Colo as a Spur
Baynes
Jeffers
Thomas
Brown
As an NBA player:
211T
Quincy Acy
Jeff Ayres
Jerryd Bayless
Norris Cole
Tyreke Evans
Hollis Thompson
Louis Williams
Bottom fourteen:
458 Tony Wroten
455T Tyshawn Taylor
Gal Mekel
John Lucas
452T Marquis Teague
Dennis Schroeder
Anthony Bennett
445T Jamaal Tinsley
Jeff Taylor
Peyton Siva
Phil Pressey
Nemanja Nedovic
Ben Gordon
Kobe Bryant
Ayres is horrible for the minutes he gets, but he's not a completely worthless player. He has good moments on d and has learned to make good cuts to the hoop. That's literally it, though, everything else is so far below NBA sea-level that it's a wonder he's playing for a good team.
The only reason why he makes those cuts is because his man has to cover Mills or Manu or whoever Ayres sets the screen for. That leaves him wide open in the lane, which may or may not lead to an easy layup or dunk. It's a simple move and it's so easy, a caveman could do it.
Take away that one simple move and you got a monkey trying to a football.
Honestly, points are points. I don't care how easy they are to get, if the guy goes out and gets them I'm happy.
He has 162 points this season. He also has 110 fouls.
He's not doing a very good job, unless you're comparing him to Kendrick Porkins.
I said he's a horrible player. Just not completely worthless like some people say he is. But he's toeing that line.![]()
well imo he's already so far past the line, he's going where no man has gone before.
when will he pass your version of the line?
When he stops playing occasionally decent defense. Considering Tiago's been hurt, he's been one of our better bigs as far as defense goes. He's a lot more mobile than Baynes and can stay in front of the guys he guards. Obviously nowhere near Duncan or Diaw level of effectiveness but we don't have any other options at the moment until the team is at full strength.
I don't want him to see a single minute of playoff time though, but I'd rather see him on the court in the 4th when we're up 15-20 than Duncan logging 36+ minutes.
no,that's Thabeet. he's worse than bonner and ayres.
as much as Ayres sucks, Ayres in clown shoes >>>> more mobile than masked Bonner
it's like the mask weighs 100 pounds, Matt can't even turn his head. has to turn his whole body to see what's going on![]()
Hes in the Top 3 tbh
( worst player list )
I wouldn't say the worse. I would say bottom 30 of all NBA. Ayres at least hustles up and down the court and has good size for his position. He is the worse player on the Spurs. Bonner is close, but that is only because every player in the NBA wants to show up or dunk on a red head white boy. They literally see red when they see Bonner. If Ayres was white and had red hair, he would be the worst NBA player.
