Unsure if it was mentioned before but according to 24/7, 5-Star WR Christian Kirk of Scottsdale, AZ is planning a trip to Texas in the near future.

You wonder if Mack even had teaching as a directive for the starters, now we are teaching prospective recruits...

I can see Mack's staff game planning with absolutely no fundamentals. Diaz dialing up blitz packages for kids that can't tackle... Ohhh they learned that in HS. No they got away with bad habits in HS because they were athletically gifted.

I can take losing games against more talented teams if we play sound football.

Update on 2016 DT Kendell Jones of Killeen Shoemaker after his visit to Austin (24/7):

“It was a great time, I know that much,” said Jones. “I really enjoyed everything about it actually. I think my favorite thing though was the team meetings we got to go to. Getting to see how those were was impressive. Wearing the jerseys and seeing myself in that Longhorns' jersey was so freaking amazing, too.”

“Texas is my top school now,” he said. “It’s Texas, LSU, Oklahoma and then Texas A&M in that order, but Texas is the favorite. Honestly it would be tough for anyone to beat Texas though. They’re up there for me.”

They didn’t offer yet, but they explained to me that their focus right now is trying to figure out who the 2015 quarterback will be, and I told them I totally understand that.”

“Just the overall trip was great and the staff is excited about things to come,” Wooten told Horns247. “They made it a lot of fun. Texas is definitely very high up on my list. I plan to be on campus often to get that feel for them.”

I'm surprised by that. I thought Josh White or Devin Williams would be the top target. It'll be interesting to see how this unfolds.

What the poster said was basically, that this whole incident has been blown out of proportions. It was a minor deal. People need to relax and remember that he comes from a tough home. The poster also said that according to the coach, Boyd will eventually decide between Texas and Baylor.

Four-star OLB Anthony Wheeler told Sooner Scoop, "I think I would put [OU] over Texas in my top," after visiting Norman this past weekend. He was in Austin the week before for JD1. Could be a case of recency effect, or it could be that he was telling the OU site what they wanted to hear. Of course, it could also be the truth.
