Bad analogy. He has no friends.
:facepalm
Think about what you're saying before posting, you stupid pile of .
What is the reason why teams back off Lebron? It's because he is the best player in the league (and one of the best ever) at driving to the basket. You literally cannot give him an inch of a lane to the basket without getting dunked on. So in that situation, obviously they're going to give him the jump shot. In spite of that, he has become a solid jump shooter. It's just a matter of picking your poison. Most people pick the jumper because it's a lower-percentage shot.
So no, this doesn't vindicate your god as being an actual god - only in your ed up, delusional brain.![]()
exactly what I've been trying to say this whole thread, OP is literally brain dead. His jumper is the only thing close to a weakness and I've heard several analysts refer to Lebron as the greatest driver / slasher in the history of the league, so no you're gonna want him to shoot a long jumper instead
I don't believe that.
Yeah the Spurs don't back off Kobe and let him take wide open shots. . .but they allow him to catch the ball, only play medium defense to stay in front because they know he will settle for forcing up a fadeaway 18-22 foot mid range shot and brick it 2/3rds of the time.
Kobe can easily be tricked into chucking 25-30 shots a game at a poor %. Kobe thinks he's much better than he actually is, so it isn't difficult to lull him into doing it.
backing off or not doesnt maake a difference
kobie will continue taking stupid low % shots, as long no one else is shooting but himself is acceptable to him
makes hard shots look easy, while easy shots look hard...nothing more then a fluke artist
please that bald headed Ho plays in a era and a conference where they're are no real dominant 4's or 5's...that got easy...they back off him because he cannot shoot...he can drive the lane but there's no prime Duncan and Robinson waiting for him like they waited for Kobe....Lebron has no one to challenge him at the rim like Duncan did Kobe![]()
I bout ready to back Spur fan into a corner....by the time I get through with their asses they're gonna either agree with me on my assessment or flat out start calling their boy Tammy as fake as pussy...either way I'm gonna win the arguement....Bring me your ass Spur fan...and watch Kool work his magic ;-)
again, what the are you even talking about. Duncan's defensive numbers are as good as ever, so that argument makes no sense. This change to universal stretch 4's didn't even happen really until he himself made the change happen when he went to Miami and positionless basketball took over, but he still had 2 MVP's prior and was only getting better.
it's so funny how laker fans try to come up with every metric or reason possible to defend Kobe's all time place over Lebron's when the argument isn't even close. And while there may have been better defensive big men during Kobe's run, LeBron was never even remotely blessed with the type of player in Shaq that allowed him to 3 peat and take so much pressure off of him. Yes Kobe contributed mightily to those 3 rings but Shaq was easily the best player for the majority of all 3 runs and without him and placing an average big man there, Kobe doesn't get a single one. Kobe's teammates have been better than Lebron's over their careers, and it's not even close.
Players would immediately foul Shaq if he had the ball and send him to the line. You would never see anyone do that to Jermaine O'Neal. Jermaine is better than shaq because of that then right
right!?!?!![]()
Teams don't back away from Steph Curry either. Does not mean Curry is better than Lebron.
Better question is why does Kobe suck at driving to the basket. Even when he was young, he was never as good as Lebron, Wade or Tony Parker. Its one of the reasons why he is not as good as Michael Jordan. And why is career fieldgoal percentage is 45 percent while Wade, Lebron and Jordan all have over 49 percent.
