Again, the main problem with my system here is again it relies on per game stats and will overrate players from the 60's, like Wilt, Oscar, etc, since every per game stat from that era was inflated.
It gives the big man the advantage imo since the difference in RPG between them and guards is huge.
Can't imagine how the site would be like today if Ginobili and Kiwi had hit their ing free throws.

As it should be. Rebounds are more important than assists. And bigs can affect the game in more ways than guards. Big man stats should be valued more.
My preference for Duncan over Kobe (whose stats are basically a wash when you consider everything) is that he's a big, and when the argument is this close, I'll always choose a big. The only perimeter wing players that I've seen affect the game like a great big on both ends are Jordan and Lebron, both of whom I'd take over Duncan.
It'd be completely different. SF wouldn't be so damn stove up that's for sure. They've aged 20 years since last we rang.

Not really, but I get your premise. For the record, I'd take a big over a guard as well. That means I'd take Duncan over LeBron if I were building a team. If you recall, I said I would have traded prime Shaq for Duncan in 1999 - so that I could pair him with a then 21 year old Kobe. Kobe would be sitting on 7 rangs, to Duncan's 8*.
