Real Madrid-Eintracht Frankfurt > 7:3 (one game!)
Those are ridiculous margins, the likes of which you won't see today.
edit: I do agree though that Messi hasn't surpassed Di Stefano...in fact I consider Di Stefano the GOAT with Diego a close 2nd
