People just love dumping on Manu so it pains me to say he left way too much time on the clock. You just don't give the home team who is full of great shooters a final chance like that.

The Spurs are done. Don't know why you guys are doing this to yourselves. As fans we have to believe but it's pretty much over. We can't stop Ellis, what are Lillard or Harden gonna do? Come on man.

Mavs barely made the 8th seed, and they're the worst home team - yet they win this game. SMH Spurs seem to be cursed in the playoffs. Why work so hard to get that #1 seed if you're going to get torched in the first round? And I just hate these old players hitting the game winning 3's on the Spurs - it just rips my heart out.

Just have to leave it and take Game 4. They showed they can make the plays necessary down the stretch. Knot it up on Monday and then you've got a great chance at 3-2 at home.

    Rockets down 2-1 to Blazers
    Spurs down 2-1 to Mavs
    Pacers down 2-1 to Hawks

Not looking good for these 'elite' teams.
    Thunder down 2-1 to Grizzlies

The play was solid, and he even managed to get a few lucky extra ticks off the clock. I too thought 1.7 was too much, but Manu made the play that was drawn up. A Vince Carter buzzer beater is hardly the fault of the previous play.

Umm, why did Tiago Splitter only play 29 minutes? The dude was balling and didn't see the floor the last 5 minutes or so.

The Spurs clearly haven't learned anything from all the heartbreaking losses and embarassing playoff defeats over the past 5 years. If they're not ready round 1, game 1, then they're never going to be prepared to win another championship. Just more of the same.

Yo, this doesn't change anything. Spurs got this in six. Good game by the Mavs, they played hard but we coming back. Not counting out these Spurs
I feel the same. I'm not so much worried about losing the series, just annoyed that it's getting extended to 6-7 games...

Nothing could be done about that. The shot was there, he should take it.

    This is all on Pop.

    Once again, he's getting outcoached

Spurs lose this series. Calling it now. Guard play too much for Spurs. Monta too quick for Kawhi. Harris has gone off twice on the road, should play better at home. Mills and Marco are terrible defensive players and worthless when they're not hitting shots. Has Dirk had a Dirk type game yet? Look for Pop to panic and start Manu in Game 4. Our interior defense is also a joke.
Hate to bump this again but come on, I'm a terrible poster and even I saw this coming.

I'm not gonna really blame Manu. It was an And-1, but the refs swallowed their whistles. I would have like Manu to not bite on the pumpfake though

The Sleeping Giant continues to Sleep tbh.
We still haven't seen the True Spurs we know and Love.
The good thing is that we haven't had one good game this series and were due for one.

Monta is killing our 22 year old defender while Parker is being intimated by 40 year old Marion. Always knew TP would look painfully average once his speed left him.

We'll be alright. I still think we win this series. We just gotta clean things up the first 3 quarters and it won't keep coming down to the last second in the 4th. And our role players (Green, Mills) gotta stop ting the bed.

And if we do end up losing the series, then..... oh well. Life goes on.

Spurs are a rare buzzer beater from a 2-1 lead, they came out much more aggressive than in Games 1 and 2 and made HUGE plays late. They can win the series, and I still feel they will, but obviously that run of 10 straight wins is long gone. Needing 6 should hopefully be nothing more than an inconvenience.

dallas is doing pick'n'rolls damn near every play and the greatest coach of all time can't stop it. he has no clue on how to stop it. that's amazing. the so called greatest coach of all time. this is how phoenix beat us in 2010. stop the fukin pick'n'roll and make dallas beat us another way. don't let them beat us the only way they know how.

Exactly but if we are gonna lose, I'd rather we lose later on
