It sure is nice that we have three good point guards right now and Miami doesn't have one.

    Neal money should do it.
Possibly, put remember the Spurs have both his and Diaw's Bird rights. They are enough under the Luxury tax they could pay both 5mil a year and still be able to use the Full MLE and BAE this year offseason w/o going over.

There were a couple times last night where I was screaming at Pop to get him back in the game. Good things happen when the Tasmanian Devil steps on the court! That hustle play where he dove and tipped the ball to Manu already on the fast break was a perfect example of the type of blue collar player he is.

He's like a good Speedy Claxton.

Early in the series he was tentative. If he just lets out the stops he's a big weapon.

His dive for the ball that ended with the Manu dunk was pure hustle, the strongest desire to be the man to the 50/50 ball. For this alone, Patty deserves a "Patty is awesome" thread.

I don't think there's an honest Spursfan who can say they don't love this guy. Translating that towel waving energy into game changing dives on the court.

Also Corey Joseph is by far the best 3rd string PG in the league. He's the best defensive PG we, a championship level team, have

More fun would be the forum response to it

    This.

Patty's bbal iq is higher than TPs.

    He isn't selfish,

moves the ball better than TP,

but ain't scared to let the 3 fly,

    he ball hawks on D,

flys around screens like a madman,

    a better shooter,

    and hits his free throws.

    If the Spurs

    HAD TO CHOOSE

    between the two of them,

    Parker and Patty,

    I would choose Patty.

    They had better resign

    Patty in the offseason.

tbh i was surprised he exercised his option to stay, since he got virtually no playing time last year, but he has stepped up in a big way this year
