his shooting has completely disappeared since last year's playoffs, he's absolutely finished..
It doesn't seem like a physical issue, but more a like a mental slump. Who knows if in a différent environement, it couldn't be fixed ?

The thing with Sefolosha is that his 3P shooting prior to last season was par for course (even good). He suffered a late season injury this year and that possibly affected his rhythm badly. His defense was still quite good even if he was ineffective against the Spurs in the postseason. If he takes a minimum salary or a 1 year $2 million salary (considering he is only a D specialist now coming off a relatively bad year), he should be picked up by the Spurs for a Leonard backup.

We already have Daye and hopefully Bertans coming over. No need for Sefalosha.

I actually think Sefalosha would be a good option on a low-cost deal, especially if he sees the Spurs as a chance to rehab his career. Sef has always seemed to me like a better fit as a system-player... which the Thunder don't have. Imagine Danny Green on a team where he pretty much has to create for himself, and defend without a system behind him. I don't think Sefalosha has the skills to succeed in that type of environment, but he might be as a 3-and-D player.

I cannot imagine trying to find a niche beside Westbrook and Durant. LeBron James makes it easier for his roll players to contribute than those guys. Thabo's time in OKC may have been wasted. With that said I'm not sure the Spurs have a spot.

Sefolosha gets a ton of open looks on OKC, let's not make up now, tbh..

Danny Green is 10x better than Sefolosha, relax..

Spurs will make a run at the Wade stopper simply b/c he is friends with Parker and is from Switzerland (a country they haven't conquered yet)

He'd be one of the worst possible wing additions. I'd rather the Spurs try to trot out DeShaun Thomas at the two than bring Sef in.

LOL... Deshaun has a pretty shot though.

Daye is a scrub. He makes Sef look like an All NBA player.

Why do we think SF with some game still left, still in or nearing their primes, would want to play backup to one of the youngest up-and-coming stars at their position?
Aminu would probably play both forward spots Spurs could go smaller more often (especially off the bench) if they saw fit. He could be used as a stretch 4 assuming his jumper can be repaired.

Daye is Novak with a tan. There is just no position he can defend. He's both breathtakingly light of weight and breathtakingly slow. He gets crushed in the post and blown by on the perimeter.

He had ONE bad season, when it became apparent that OKC was not going to bring him back. The previous season, he shot 48% overall and 42% from long.
The thing is how bad his bad season looked. He hit 18 3's post all star break (including the postseason) that was a a starter averaging about 20 mpg. Even worse, he started to pass up open 3s.

Can't be worse than De Culo, Anderson, Shannon Brown, Sam Young, or 2013 Cpt Jack

THAT'S why you can likely get him cheap.

It is funny to me that you blast Daye, but then laud the signing of sefalosha.

Something tells me you are a grass is always greener on the other side, kind of guy?

    What need does sefelosha fill?

We already have Danny, Manu, Kawhi and Belli...

    We're good with wings tbh...
A SF who can relatively defend LeBron/Durant is always needed. Even if this additional player does not play much after all existing players, as long as he can play 10 minutes against those elite wing players, he would be valuable to the team.

so you're in favor of signing Tahbo but not in favor of the Spurs shipping their pick for Shumpert? You mentioned Shumps P.E.R but Sefs was at 10.3 last year. Shumpert as is is better than him with upside thats definitely doesn't have.

Even on the cheap, Sef is still to much. He isnt worth a roster spot.

Can't see the Spurs bringing in a wing that can't shoot consistently.

We don't need a defensive stopper with Kawai and Danny on the roster.

More likely to help the team now....

and besides its likely to be another draft n' stash. If the Spurs could fill a position of need with an young player with some talent and experience they would be more likely to do that than going after a player that they game planned to ignore on offense because he was a train wreck offensively.

He's a washed up one-dimensional player. We won because we didn't have too many one dimensional players. Everybody could create a shot for themselves or somebody else.

So, Danny Green is done? Because he's a virtual Sef clone, being the younger of the two.
Give Green more credit. His ability to stretch the defense and play disruptive defense was a big part of why we won. He made Wade look old right after he had a pretty good ECF.
